  1. Yes SPURLING has gone for up to £150.
  2. Frankie Staton & Speckled Rainbow - Love One Another / Bicentennial 1976 (SPECKLED RAINBOW) nm 275 ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT tune... Gets people coming up to the decks to find out what it is, every time its played. Great funk flip too!
  3. Did Ian really do this (not sure if your joking?) It does have that Levine production quality, with the synths replacing the other instruments? Quite soulful I think. Definitely in the same 'homage to Northern soul' vein that the Lamarr tune is! Great stuff for sure
  4. Absolute quality!! What its all about!
  5. Heard something about Betty Lavette commenting on Ians contribution to music being posted on here (a recorded clip)? would love to hear what one of these great soul artists had to say? Why was it removed (I cant find it)? Surely the 'soul artists' are what we are concerned with?
  6. Am I missing something. what soundclips. ?
  7. Dave Blocker - Just Like A Ship verve m- £30 Al Wilson - Be Concerned m- £20 Epsilons - Mad At The world Shrine vg+ £120 Lovations - Later Baby vg+ £110 pm if interested

  11. Hi, lost Baz Maleadys number. Any help appreciated. thanks paul-s
  12. Have to agree with you, but you know why it offends people. Because they look down their nose at practically anything that doesn't fit in with their ideals. I know its bad how some people are Pete and thank god you set an example by never doing that.
  13. No, on the djs playing it! ITS utter sh--e!
  14. site note the member posted a 'joke' you have replied end of exchange - if wish to reply then do it via pm
  15. Absolutely amazed that so many people are spending so much time talking about ONE record, when so many thousands of others exist.
  16. HA! Shame on your names! Said this was a SONNY & CHER track when i first heard it F--king appalling tune!
  17. See the SS knitting circle is back ... What were they called again Pete ? I know what I would do if I was the film director... I'd introduce some extra characters & name them the same as you moaners for a laugh...... for instance..the main guy in the film could go & visit his Granny who suffers from Tourets called 'Jumping Joan' ... or he could have a cousin called 'Paul Sadot' who cuts his ear off whilst suffering for his art over his school play production ....Or how about a fat crap dancer in an Arsenal shirt & spencers called 'Simsy' Any others ? ... be kind though...it's meant just a bit of fun. You forgot the knob head cheap and crap oldies collector 'Bogue' from Worcester. Who's never contributed anything to life except their mundane and droll, opinions and thoughts. They have 'knitted' their life together but dropped quite a few stitches along the way. Sits at home and dreams of one day coming up with an original thought and acting on it. Dreams of living!....film could be based around their life story...TITLE? 'Destined To Become a Loser' or 'I Am Nothing' or 'Manys The Slip Twixt The Cup And The Lip'.
  18. Ray & Belaires on Hold for Bob Cornock!
  19. Ray & the Bel-aires - The blames on you - ARV Ex (some scuffs NAP) 100 quid Come on guys! Everytime I play this out, someone comes up asking what it is!
