  3. True! But, unfortunately, that seems to be the Rule rather than the Exception!

  9. Come to DDA friday and you will hear it! In fact the last copy i saw for sale was at LOwton andi had £150 on it!
  10. .....well, theres the thing. Not only is it battered...its really expensive TOO!!! Not saying it wasn't or isn't a good tune. Its just that rather than treating these tunes with respect and nurturing them, because the dj has paid a zillion quid for it, we are going to hear it every bloody time they are on. Sometimes , if three have it, were going to hear it three times in one night. Thats not a "good time" for me
  11. Had £500 on it in the end...always open to a haggle...HA!
  12. THE CHASE IS ON - Johnny Howard GOOD TIMES BAD TIMES - Vanguards....BATTERED TO DEATH!! (I'll have chips with that!)
  13. Always filled the floor at DDA for the last 10 or so months. Class tune.!! Come and hear it on Friday!
  14. Played this covered as GWEN AND RAY for the last 3 years. Had it for sale on here with sound bite and no one wanted it. !! Traded it with Manship a couple of months back!!
  15. PRIMERS sing about being turned on like a 'Gigantic Fossett'...Sh..........te!!!
  16. Took me a while to find one of these. Both sides are great!! think it goes for around £100 - £150
  17. Its an oldie that used to get played at the twisted wheel..........heard it at Burnley on Friday
  18. Same group...yes.
  19. Been Playing Judy out the last couple of years...superb tune.......thought it was about £150 though?
  20. YES...I think its just finding the right balance and being sensitive to the venue......some places like it more than others.....BUT, I definitely dont need to be told how much or how rare a record is. Its either good or bad!!
  21. TRUE...I knew BUB and there is no one who can do that today!
  22. Well, if you plan a set before the event...I dont, a cd might be a viable option. I like to be there from start to finish and contribute to a whole night. Im listening to the OTHER dj's playing and trying to feel what will follow....If I like a record , I go up and ask what it is, that way i get to speak to a person, not a personality!! You see, I dont think its my place to tell a dj what to play, what to say, how to dance (although I think they should!), or whether to use a mike. Some dj's are ALL talk and crap tunes....does that make it OK , because they can waffle on the mike.? The cd thing is true Chalky, because I keep hearing dj's playing the same old sets....
  23. mmmm? No idea. Just came into my head...honest guv!
