    Had a truly great Saturday night at the Ukrainian Club. Outstanding music in a perfectly suited (and dark!) venue full of up-for-it people. Really was everything they said it would be and then some. Special thanks to Simon and Emma for taxi service, a tidy bedroom and an endless supply of food and drink throughout the weekend — you are gems. Three days of rare, not-so-rare and just plain good soul music from the 60s, 70s and 80s with a sprinkling of the best current releases. DJ LINE-UP: Andy Tats Taylor (UK) DJ Aware (US) Edu Domingo (SPA) Gareth Donovan (UK) Karl Marthon (SWE) Barry Maleedy (UK) Richard Free (UK) Cristina Alonso (SPA) Franc Giacobbe (UK) Jan Hjalmarsson (SWE) Dave Girdwood (SCO) Lynne Girdwood (SCO) Steve Phillis (UK) + residents: Jens Chreisti Pete Shirley Carl Hedberg Dates: May 23rd-25th at Hammarby Rodd, the same rowing club we used for the last couple of years - a small, intimate venue right by the water. Nice sound system, cheap bar and a lovely outdoor area to chill out in if the weather is what is normally is. Friday and Saturday from 2 PM to 2 AM, Sunday from 2 PM to midnight. A weekender pass for Friday, Saturday and Sunday is 500 SEK (about 37 GBP). A one day pass is 250 SEK.
