  1. Did you mean The Night Agent? If so yes worth watching, I enjoyed it - bit daft at times in a US of A kind of way, but fast paced and good fun
  2. Remember hearing a Colin Law Allanton set on Chalky's mixcloud page, and either someone had new batteries in their tape player that night or the decks were pitched up at +8 for the whole set - probably the latter I would guess Loads of times actual record much slower than I've heard it played out - Just Bros Carlena, Jimmy Seals Yesterday, Carl Underwood Ain't you lyin', etc - felt a bit smoke and mirrors when I first realised Butch's Diane Lewis, Jean Carter, Mello Souls, etc?
  3. One for sale today, or maybe yesterday - Tony Treby has it listed on sales page if you’re still looking Cheers, Chris
  4. Thanks Chalky, it was a fantastic night - post some clips or photos if you get chance Never say 'never again' - even once a year would do
  5. Just wondered who on here is going - I’m really looking forward to it
  6. Out of interest anyone know what is the track Colin plays at 51 mins to the end?
  7. Thanks for looking - please PM if interested. UK post special delivery £8, overseas to be confirmed. No hassle money back if not 100% happy. Eddie Foster - I Never Knew (In) VG £750 NOW £650 Not in the best nick, lots of light surface marks and a bit of light crackle, but plays really well throughout - sounds great at home as well as out. I am very picky when it comes to record grading, so buy with confidence (I bought it from Tim Brown Dec 1990, and only selling to balance the books on some other purchases ) Iconic 45 of course, original issue with correct title and In-6110 marking in deadwax - see photos Priced according to grade, and also current asking prices for stronger graded copies, but happy to consider sensible offers if you think I'm miles out

  12. Re. House Bros, personally I love it, and 99.9% certain it's a pukka 1979 recording The 'In the Navy' comment higher up is probably a good shout - sounds to me like it was probably aimed at the gay disco market, and production wise definitely like numerous other records of the same era - something like a cross between Alfie Davison 'Love is serious business' and maybe Idris Muhammad 'For your love'. Got a feel of Italo disco / early Italo house to it as well IMO - in fact wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be Italian Also can't see any Ian Levine involvement - while the lyrics are quite IL it doesn't have any of his musical fills and frills and awful synthesised brass like on say 'Wrong side of town' - always baffles me how anyone thought that was a 60's recording, though maybe famous last words having stuck my neck out on House Bros
