  6. After many arguments over baby names with my wife, I sat down one night with the record collection looking for something not in those ridiculous books. Got to the B's, saw a Big Ella 45, and the next day presented it with a few others.......Ella was born in November.

  12. 33) The New Holidays (Soul Hawk): if I only knew 15,- VG+ sticker on label - "maybe so maybe no" on b-side has little cracks how noisy is 'maybe so, maybe no'?

  16. I am usually buying spares of 45s on the Prestige label whenever I bump into them. One of my favorite labels, and always trying to mint up.

  18. nice selection. listening to it as I work, and suddenly Tommy Bass comes on and knocks me over the head. One of my favorites.
  19. what a great tune 'The Burg' is. Perfect for a warm early Spring day. edit - there was an interview with Mr McGee on the Licorice Soul website when they re-issued this tune. Not sure if it is still there, though.

  21. I absolutely love this track. I actually bought it a few years back for "Music", and somehow misfiled it.....a few months later I was thinking about selling it and flipped it over. One spin and I knew it wasn't going anywhere. Hello Haim, I'm doing well. I hope everything is well with you. And boy are you right, Arctic titles are tough to find in the Philly area these days....
