  1. don't think this is a tough one to locate. not sure on price these days.
  2. Here's 3 out of my US pressing of UK 60s releases box:
  3. Yes, I have a few of these. I can post up scans after my daughter goes to bed tonight. I'm pretty sure I have a US pressing of Eyes of Blue "Heart Trouble" on the orange swirl label.
  4. Voices, Incorporated "Thinkin' / I Turn to Jesus" Columbia white demo 45 plays EX+, nice and loud. Has some light marks & a very small bubble in the wax, none of which affects play. $550 pm me if interested.
  5. voice incorporated - thinkin' columbia demo 45 anyone help with the going rate for this? recent finished auctions on the 'bay show a vg- copy selling for $100 more than a vg++ copy ($640 vs $530) thanks.
  6. I found a scan of the Abbott release here It looks like it has the distributed by Golden Recs as well. As Funky Si stated, Uplook is the first release, Abbott second.
  7. unfortunately, I am not very savvy on making soundfiles. But there is a soundclip here: Heighty-Hi
  8. I've managed to successfully stay away from e-bay for the past month or so, but did find Sons of Robin Stone - Got to Get You Back (Atco) at a yard sale this weekend. I was gonna sell it, but after a few spins I knew it was a keeper. Even my wife said I couldn't sell it. Also bought a super clean copy of Edwin Starr's "25 Miles" LP.
  9. Some spare 45s lying about. Please PM to reserve. Postage is from USA, $6.00 for one 45, $1.00 each additional. Mongo Santamaria - Heighty-Hi / Sunshine of Your Love (Atlantic demo) $15 Unplayed old store stock, not a mark on the vinyl. Great latin 45. Gene Ammons - Jungle Strut / Madame Queen (Prestige) $35 Unplayed old store stock, not a mark on the vinyl. Quality jazz funk, perhaps my favorite on the label. Rusty Bryant - Soul Liberation Part 1 / Part 2 (Prestige) $30 Unplayed old store stock, not a mark on the vinyl. The Formations - At the Top of the Stairs / Magic Melody (MGM) $15 This is the blue/gold label press. Very small edge chip, drillhole through label. Unplayed old store stock, not a mark on the vinyl. Gene Chandler - There Was a Time / Those Were the Good Old Days (Brunswick) $25 Sticker on "There Was a Time" label. Unplayed old store stock, not a mark on the vinyl. The Royalettes - It's A Big Mistake / It's Better Not To Know (MGM stock) $10 Drillhole through label. Unplayed old store stock, not a mark on the vinyl. Du-ettes - Please Forgive Me / Lonely Days (One-derful!) $30 "Please Forgive Me" has one mark on the vinyl, and plays EX. "Lonely Days" plays VG with some noise throughout. Fabulous Emotions - Number One Fool / Funky Chicken (Nico) $20 Marks on the vinyl and a dirty label. Both sides start out VG- for the first 10 rotations, and then improve to strong VG. Nina Simone "Save Me / To Be Young, Gifted and Black"(RCA) $12 "Save Me" plays EX, with some light crackle at the start. The flip side starts off with some decent crackle, but improves to VG+ after the first 30 seconds. Joe Quarterman & Free Soul "The Way They Do My Life / Find Yourself" (GSF) $12 "The Way They Do My Life" plays with some crackle at the start, but plays VG+ throughout. The flip side has a bit more noise at the start, and improves to VG+ from about a minute into the tune. Overall, a strong VG for "Find Yourself". There is an edge warp that does not affect play. Barbara Acklin - I Can't Do My Thing / Make The Man Love You" (Bruncwick) $15 Mark on the vinyl of "Can't Do My Thing". Plays EX. Quality sister funk cheapie.
  10. this weekend, at a flea market, I bought a copy of Barbara Brown's "Forget Him" on Carnival. It was one of the 45s I pulled out of a $2 each, 3 for $5 pile. On the Barbara Brown run out groove was a pink post-it note that read: "Worth a lot" (the same note was on one of the jazz 45s I bought). In the end I bought four 45s, and my grand total was $5. Funny little marketing technique I thought to myself as I walked away.....
  11. I would say this is a $50 record, tops. I've had a few copies and never asked for more than $25.
  12. The UNI release is a $30 to $40 record. The Lucky Sounds release is much harder to find.
  13. I just got the Fashionettes 45 today after a few days of anticipation. It's already been on the decks several times and sounds better each time. very nice job.
  14. I noted an e-bay auction for the Merced Blue Notes "Do The Pig" 45, and it was on the Mammoth label. Don't know if that helps at all.
  15. sounding good. thanks for sharing
  16. brilliant tune. can anyone tell me the going rate on this 45?
  17. what is the flip side on the H. Andrews 45?
  18. Can anyone help me with the going rate for this 45? Perfections "Girl You Better Hurry" Tri-City 328 Thanks.
  19. can someone post this up? Never heard it, and I love this Timebox 45.
  20. nice site. I'll add your link to my blog, if you'd like to swap links: https://three-sixty-five45s.blogspot.com/
  21. does that say 'Northern Raries'?
  22. last copy I saw stateside was $250, so 150 quid is about right.
  23. Mike, I recommend putting this sale on the funk 45 board. I had someone from that board trying to purchase my copy earlier this year.
