  1. The Debra Anderson sold on e-bay last year for less than $100, if I remember correctly.
  2. I second that. Great tune.
  3. Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings - How Do I Let a Good Man Down? from the Naturally LP Ray Alexander Technique - Let's Talk LP side 2 of this LP is real nice. It's been my headphone spin of choice (headphones go on when the wife goes to bed).
  4. This is exactly why I don't buy compilation CDs anymore. I do not want to continue to purchase the same songs over and over again.
  5. I'm one of the lurkers. Generally it's me taking a quick peek while at work, as the funk/soul obsession won't allow me to have 8 hours of music free thought..... If I'm not too tired, I'll throw in a comment when I get home, but at my post count shows, I can be quite lazy or on e-bay.....
  6. That James River & Roy Roberts Exp are great. I'm gonna have to listen to the Roy Roberts when I get home now....
  7. If you don't hear anything from Dennis, let me know. I bump into him fairly regularly, and can ask him for you.
  8. I'd like to see a full list. Probably gonna send you a PM, too.
  9. The Rokk 45 is noted as having a small bit of writing on the label....in the picture someone has written on the label "warped"......
  10. Those are some serious prices.....last copy of the Rokk 45 I saw was last year & had a price tag of $1500. I thought that was a bit much, but now it looks like a bargain.
  11. There are soundfiles available in the auctions.
  12. Not northern, but wondering how a 2 yr old would react to King Coleman's 'Boo Boo Song'?
  13. I voted for 'Ain't No Soul', as that's one of the few Major Lance 45s I own, but 'You Don't Want Me No More' is probably the best I've heard by him.
  14. not sure if these are really mellow, but compared to the funk 45s that are usually on the turntable, they are...... Freddie Hughes "I Gott Keep My Bluff In" Little Herman "One Out of a Hundred" I actually saw the Freddie Hughes LP recently. Anyone know if it is as good as the above 45?
  15. I may have a couple (2) of copies of this at home. I have a bunch of 45s I need to get through, and I recall seeing this one (then again my memory is not what it used to be...). If anyone is interested, let me know.
  16. James - Can you tell me what this is like - or do you have a sound file? Thanks.
