  2. Hi Chalky I've got a Canadian copy too but as you say seems to be a lot rarer than the UK & USA copies which I've seen valued at between 80 & 120 so I'd say about £150
  3. Twas the time after Wigan had closed and was thinking that it was the end of NS and then Hinkley Leisure Centre came along, a massive sports hall. Great memories of the Ric Tic revue, Edwin mingling and dancing with the crowd, Lou Ragland walking past, knew it was him because he'd got his name on his guitar strap Met Curtis Mayfield there on one occassion, what a lovely fellow, although at the time I didn't think much of his stage show about 2 months later it sort of hit me with a delayed action just how good he had been. When it stopped, so did I moving more onto the House scene, still kept collecting Soul records though Shame they are pulling it down but nothing lasts forever eh!
  4. That's what I was saying Julian "looks like its on the piss" and with the confirmations on his other sales, don't think I'd want to be involved with the Chubby Checker either and as we all now know the grip rings are bootlegable too.
  5. Try this HERE

  11. Always remember this being played at Walsall Town Hall, be about 1975 ish but don't remember it from Wigan around the same time. The DJ must have had some sort of edit of it as he used to precede it with that jingle off the Motown box set, you know the one - "Detroit, Michigan, Motortown, Motown, this is the Motown sound" Just a one way out.......
  12. No I don't know, but that is the name & address included with the ebay posting, unless that's fraudulent too?
