  1. I'm asking this for an American friend, he's sure his brother had it when he was a kid. Anybody??? Thanks Dazz
  2. Stefan Lee Tilman & The Secrets - She's the one I love - Whit 718 This record is quite hard, never seen it on Ebay and only been able to get 2 copies in thirty years, (believe me I've tried) the first one was in one of those soul pack thingies from the late seventies the second is battered. IMHO this pisses all over the Delacardo's version which is pretty weak compared to Lee's raw bolloxy version plus it doesn't contain the 'Let's go home now' line at the end Value if you could find one is probably around £100 but compared to some of the so called rare records should be around £1000. You may also care to look out for 'All these things' on Michelle and 'Will travel' on Ron which is a good version of Richard Berry's 'Have love will travel. Hope this helps Dazz
  3. Does anybody have one for sale??? Dazz
  4. Tubbs Only ever seen 4 demos go through Ebay 'let's make love now' is on both sides of the demo, British dealers lists says around £25 for the demo, which seems to be supported more or less on Ebay, presumably an issue is worth more because it has another tune on the b'side. Could you tell me the title of the other tune please, for my records because I've never seen an issue Dazz
  5. Hello Does anybody out there know if there is a version of the Bobbi Lynn song 'Earthquake' but performed by Terri Bryant of 'Geni' fame. Label? or just does it exist? Thanks Dazz

  11. HI FB The other side to the one Mr Manship has a sound file to, is better IMO as a dancer, you should be able to buy it on Ebay relatively cheap $10-$20. It's quite a common 45. Dazz
  12. Kenneth As far as I know I think this record is a lot rarer than people think, there are boots and then there are really good boots which pass for originals but a real original has a pale blue NB in letters about half inch big printed onto the label which is then overprinted by the title etc I've only ever seen one like this but I'm sure it was an original .... don't know if anybody else has seen one, the title is definately overprinted on the blue. Dazz
  13. Steve Edwin is quite correct about the unreleased Arthur Prysock version however the song was also written by and released on Cadet 5690 by Bobby Hebb. Billy Shields is also better known as Tony Orlando of 'Tie a yellow ribbon' fame Dazz

  23. How do you know that he does do it, how do you even know that the records are even there to be auctioned in the first place. What guarentee do you have that if the records are there, he doesn't just bump them up in price to make it look good and increase the price of the real records for sale. It's a good?? marketing ploy to include a load of good records on your auction to entice people to your site, to buy other records. I don't know anyone who has ever bought a record from his auction, do you???? (to be fair I don't know many people though At least on Ebay and other real online auctions you can (usually) safely assume the record is there to be bought and that the highest bidder, that you can see, is the winner Dazz the Unbeliever
