  1. Sorry to everybody that has tried to log in to Soulbid recently. Unfortunately a traumatic event has occured in my personal life which has resulted in me being unable to operate the site to the best of my ability. If there is any support at all out there for it please post below as I am feeling pretty F&%$in' miserable at the moment and encouraging comments would at least make me feel that I hadn't wasted 3 years of my life writing the damn thing and/or perhaps inspire me to give it another go. Also if there are any other budding entrepreneurs out there who would like to input, advise, help, why? Please contact me. Kind regards Dazz Soulbid 2008

  8. I remember CP had it Ted .... he said "I've got this really rare thing on the Shrine label" "let's have a listen then" said I "How much" .... "You can have it for £45" said Chris "Nah..........It's too slow" said I well in my defence we were all into 100mph stompers then and my humble apprentices wage was just £23 a week PS I still think it's too slow
  9. The Soul Blenders - what a tune but getting one in anywhere near excellent condition seems to be an impossibility 75 quid for a VG is a great price I've heard poorer £1000 records than this.
  10. Got a link to that at all mate?
  11. Got this Tutti Hill for sale HERE with the same problem. Shrine glue I call it
  12. Bump
  13. One HERE for half price then
  14. Hello Prophonics 2029 or can I call you Mr Washington or Cecil I would have thought that you would have registered Prophonics 2029 anyway to stop somebody else registering it, however if you haven't registered already, registration is free. Once registered you can bid on any record for free, all you pay is the cost of the record to the seller should you win it. I just thought that this Royal Esquires was cheap and I know Netspeaky to be a good seller ... that's all no trick honest.
  15. Royal Esquires HERE
  16. Just direct your browser HERE Click on the Artists name in the list for a full view To be able to bid (and sell) You will need to Register HERE or if you just want to browse all the records for sale click the various categories in the header of the main page www.soulbid.co.uk i.e Rare Soul 45's, Tamla Motown etc

  18. Sorry to hear of your predicament Ian but I must say your title made me laugh. I used to know a guy that people called E.Y, to be honest he wasn't the full shilling. One day I asked someone, why do they call him EY to be told it was short for Empty Yed. yes I am from the black country
  19. And go to Soulbid instead
  20. PM'd you Phil Thanks for the info Mark & Gasher
  21. Hello Anybody got a Daddy Maxfield on UA for sale Tia Dazz
  22. Nev, Matt, Pete Dave et all I appreciate your comments. I'm in the middle of writing a tome for another thread at the moment so we can hopefully debate it in the correct place. Can someone close this tread or tell me how to and I can go somewhere else to talk about reserves.
  23. Thanks for your comments Dave But that's the point I don't want to be the only seller, I've written it so that everybody can use it, if you don't want to use reserves it's up to you, you don't have to use them, again you can post 3 records completely free of charge, I'll be delighted to see what you post Dave and how much you start them at.
  24. Hello Phil Thanks for your comments, I hear what you are saying my friend. In fact I'm painfully aware of the situation, however I would ask you to bear a few things in mind. Soulbid is very young, just a month old, in that short space of time I am staggered at the response, the hits to the site and the amount of people that have actually registered. Even eBay had to start somewhere and I'm pretty sure you wouldn't have put your 'Lady in green' on there for $10 with no reserve in those days. There is no rule anywhere to say that you must get a bargain from an auction, after all who really gets anything half decent off eBay at a bargain price these days? unless you've scoured the C&W section People know that if they use eBay because of the perceived number of people who inhabit it they are pretty safe in starting their big record small, Soulbid does not have that surity yet. Plenty of people start their auctions on eBay at going rate, mainly because it's as cheap to do that as use a reserve. Soulbid doesn't charge a fee for a reserve, it could, I have coded all of the mechanics in to do so but Hey! why copy eBay completely. So Phil, I have given everybody 3 completely free of charge listings to use. Why don't you take advantage of that and try it out, I for one will look forward to bidding on your Magnetics that you have started for £10 no reserve I think you will see then what a difficult situation I am in. Perhaps I'm a bit too expensive but you or other sellers on Soulbid may not be. Everything has to start somewhere. Right I'm away now to write a tome for the appropriate Forum topic where I'll be glad to answer any questions, criticisms good or bad and generally fight my corner. Appreciate your comments Dazz
