Don't know the tune but interestingly enough it's written by Shel Talmy, long time producer of The Kinks and The Who in the early 60ts, I take it it's a garage type sound? Lenny

Agree about Wynne i've got all his Spinners albums and his voice is just the business, keep telling people on here that his solo outing on Sugarhill called You Aint Goin Anywhere But Gone is one of the most underrated records on the scene, and all for a fiver Lenny

Same goes here only on Gemm, $8 for a 45 and then he wanted $12.40 postage, when i queried it he said that was the going rate for 7 and 12 inch records , so i told him to stick it where the sun don't shine....which would be difficult cos he was from San Antonio Texas Lenny

Even outwith ebay Pete there is gross over postage cost, I bought a record from Avid Vinyl who have a really impressive website with photo scans of all records they sell but the want £3.25 for recorded delivery :angry: , cue record order cancelled! Lenny

Defo up especially from dealers on these pages but you can get a bargain as I have done through people on here who are not over profiteering from the scene, perfect example was Bros Guiding Light was on here from a dealer at £125, ridiculous! :angry: , its a standard (but overpriced imo) £90 any where else, but as John Manship has said people who really want a record and have the money will pay any going rate. No not an increased bid Ade, the price was what was the final bid,was, no reduction on it, I bid $85 for it but he wants 141.00 Lenny

Quite recently i've put three bids on records from three different sellers, and incredibly although I did'nt win I was offered a second chance offer at the final price, three times i've been told that the winner failed to complete the deal, is this a case of getting your mate to put in a high bid then pull out of the deal at the end of it?, hope this makes sense Lenny

Ditto, waiting on Terry Callier album for over 3 weeks from Germany, but credit to the guy who is investigating, it really is a worry when you buy something nowadays without recorded delivery, I also think that we should all complain directly to the PO when something does'nt show, may not get anywhere but at least they will know you are angry, also I think they have a watchdog that you can complain to but really the only alternative is to insure it Lenny
