    Interesting to say the least, having hero worshipped Gordy for many years I have read on countless occasions that because he was so besotted with Ross many great talents at Motown were ignored including Flo, his ignorance at real talent was unbelievable, RIP Flo Lenny

    I also paid £2.50 for my copy at one of the Blackpool weekenders, it was nice to hear it played in that youtube clip cos everytime I play mine out it sounds crap! , a very muddy mix that totally spoils an otherwise great tune for me, Lenny

    To be fair Rod I prefer not to air my dirty washing in public, any problems I have had with dodgy records will be dealt with via PM's, would'nt want it any other way, however if a return is refused I will take it up with the mods first before naming and shaming, Gashers original post is just exactly what has happened to me and I am awaiting a reply, Lenny

    I pointed this out to Ian Sims the moderator on the site for sales Lars and he has made clear guidelines at the top of the page that no one seems to pay attention to, I would NEVER sell a record to a fellow soul fan on here or otherwise by misguiding the sale through bad grading, I had horrendous probs on here with a fairly well known seller and to get the refund I had to accept paypal after paying by cheque, so I lost out on it big time including rip off postage, never again!, Lenny

    I too have had this problem, but not on Ebay but by sellers on here, several discs that were graded VG++ were in fact in a disgraceful condition and paying top (although not book) price for them I would expect fellow soulies on here to show other members a bit of respect, from now on I won't be buying anything under EX on this forum Lenny

    RCA 9723 seems to be the first one mate, thats the one i've got, there's no mention of a black issue in JM's book, the yellow one is of course the demo and the third one in the picture seems to be a re-issue, need a bit more confirmation tho, L

    Hmmm, interesting thread and one I never thought would see the light of day on this forum for some reason but have to say I still get a tingle at his Love Theme instrumental, a wonderful track, and have to also admit his songs were played to death at our house back in the 70s , went to see him here in Edinburgh with a crowd of friends and have to say I was in awe at his wonderful show, Lenny
