The copy in the clip last night looks like an emi/acetate/carver with a photocopied label. 

Wonder what the interest/ value of the acetates sent over would be today then?

Soussan sent him some incarnation of it, because he was the one who had it first at the Casino.

And I heard him say at a later date that he made a copy before he let his go ( something he says he should never have done) I'm sure he said the copy he had he swapped for a thousand pounds worth of records at the time.

I ask because I definately remember the BBC doing something on Northern Soul after the Granada This England broadcast, It would have been around 1978 and all I can recall is it had 'Interplay' being played as the backdrop to the programme and I wondered if that Omnibus documentry was the one? 

Does anybody know the title of the Omnibus documentry from 1978 shown in the clip posted earlier?

Not a celebrity but recently read the boxer Carl Froch's autobiography and in it he says his dad got nicked a couple of times for pinching cars to get to 'Northern Soul do's' in the Midlands back in the 70's.

Think it's a typo to be honest, rest of his stock looks right!

I Think the  Detroit Emeralds appeared more than once, seem to remember them playing late 70's, the above poster has the allnighter starting at 2.am with only 3 regular (one being Kev who left in 75?) Djs named, putting it towards the beginning.
