  4. .....2 years later, Was googling California/O'Jays and good to see the "Calais" getting a mention here, went to many of those listed, great spot, we used to try sneak back home to Bedford on "Paper" train and once walked home along rail line

  12. Hi Stu, yep have been on to both, the Garda that dealt with me before is not back on until Saturday, but have emailed her personal address, could get messy if its not a coincidence. Cheers Danny
  13. Cheers Stu, seems a big coincidence. I'm the only one whose played this on the Irish scene, Harpo has bought one recently. Lot of coincidences, a person who was living in the house at the time I lost my records first name was Matthew and his surname begins with Kea (matkea) is this too much of a coincidence, what to do, have reported to eBay, am going to contact Garda who was looking into it here before when I reported them missing......
  14. Yeah, am afraid to blow my cover, especially as I'm in Dublin. Could someone ask for scan of both sides. Bought my copy off Irish Greg a few years back, he will am sure be able to vouch if its the same..cheers for heads up

  22. Woah laddie, djn some are gonna like your sets some wont. Weve already gone overboard to say fair f9cks to ya for playin at 14 but with over 800 quid to spend no need to play boots. The best buzz as a dj imo is when after a good floor reaction someone asks ya what was that last record you played. For the record i dont care if you play boots or originals as long as i know in advance then i can make an informed decision, now am aware Rugby is any format night be it a 14 year old, 44 year old unemployed trying to collect and feed his kids or someone on a pension. I prefer nights where i'll go up to the dj hopefully once and say "what the feck was that"
  23. £ 890? but whose counting eh so Gwen & G &T;s wew boots, as there is a cd player there you coulda just stuck on the "best allniter ever" and saved your money and let some dance yet again to the same stuff THE CROWD WANTED to dance too . Why is it peeps seem to think original vinyl means expensive? And those that play boots only play imitation big sounds pretending their playing original vinyl? In Dublin theres kids turning me onto tunes that don't cost much. Youngun well done for having the nerve to playout but dont go down the line of becoming a wannabee chequebook dj, bring something different to the scene, its what keeps the scene fresh
