Surely you can license the regular Judy Freeman and when it comes time to release it, you just put a mastered dub off the test press album? Everyone gets paid, everyone gets credit, you'll be hailed as a modern-day bronzed god - everyone's happy. Otherwise the track will slip through the cracks into eternal obscurity. Seriously, it would be a crime against music if this track was left to languish...

Sorry I can't help in your quest, and it possibly won't make any difference in locating one. But... the artist on the label is CURTIS, THE BROTHERS.

It'll be rarer, but can't imagine it would be more desirable. Mis-labelled records are just an annoyance, as far as I'm concerned...

To be honest, I'm quite surprised by the number of strict alphabeticisers (?!) and label run collectors. Surely this only works as a system if you know exactly what record you want to listen to - or feel like listening to a load of Okeh 45s or whatever? My collection is sorted by genre, and if any sub-genres within are big enough they get their own sections. So, if I'm DJing I can go to the relevant box: 60s northern soul, 70s soul, disco, Motown, Kent, Blue Cat/Red Bird, funk, nu-funk, James Brown productions, Eddie Bo productions, jazz, girl groups, mod stuff, reggae/ska, new arrivals etc And plenty of genres which are of no interest to anyone on here!

However, the typesetting on that label looks very suspect (especially on the flipside, with the wrong track time). Looks the same as the copy on popsike listed above. The Columbia logo looks wrong, the songwriting credit "c. Singleton" should have a capital "C". Yup, looks pretty dodgy to me...
