  6. Inspired by the mix that Tony I has put up I thought I'd share the following; This is the set that was played at SoulFusion, Gloucester on March 24th this year, not record live as we do at the Soulful Sessions but mixed the following week at home on the 'puter. It's about 45mb and runs for about 62mins, so it fit's fine on a CD easily enough once converted. Hope you like it Click Here
  7. Save the Children is about £40 or £50 at the moment, can't help with the other one
  8. U could always go to Porretto in Italy, like about 12 of us are, for a 50th Stax Soul Festival https://www.porrettasoul.it/

John Bull; standard font, size 4
  10. The second press from three/four years came from the same tapes but the info in the deadwax, as per normal is the give away. Original NB-9002 60004-1A whereas the 2nd press only has NB9002-A or B Pictures attached may help, the release sheet makes for interesting reading

As Gavin Page once told me; side to side is Northern Soul and forwards & backwards is Modern Soul. You work the beat/rhythm out and there you are, you have your style
  12. I played this on one of the Friday night Radio shows at Prestatyn, with a mention to Mr T Mines on Capital with a nice 'Film 86' PS Flip is - Right Here, Right Now, which happens to be the name of the LP as well.

  14. Well done, that's miles better then the flv convertor software that CreigW intruduced us to last year, not that I'm knocking Creig's contribution.
  15. Strange that cos I sent him a txt about 7:30 wishing him luck and reminding him not to swear; not heres the shocker and you'll need to sit down for this one - he texted me back! & in his bestest english said "feck-off" I'm seeing him Sunday so I'll get a copy and run one off for you, it's only us two sad sacks that'll listen to it anyway, bet you fall asleep before I do
  16. Mischief, I've some good news and some bad news. The show recorded from last night, the falla Spider was givin' Mick a fare few plugs and just as his last records comes to end so does the tinternet connection, so I've got 38mins of Spider and 1hr 22mins of nothing. Now some may say that's divine intervension and we've been releaved but I'm a little pi$$d off. I'll contact the radio station and see if they have an archive of the show. At 1:30 this morning when I got in I was not a happy bunny
  17. Na, he did that at the weekend. It's to late anyway, he's working down Weymouth or Plymouth somewhere so what ever is in the box is what's he's playing; I've lent him some Soul & Deep House
