Spoke to Mick Lloyd other week about Exeter.I believe they're looking for another venue and no dates at present for this year.

Got to agree with Mike.Bridgwater top night out.Quality music and a great venue.We travel over from Bournemouth and quite a few come down from the midlands & Wales.

After hearing a couple of bits of rumour on saturday night about Bournemouth Railway Club I can confirm after speaking to Mark (Jonah) earlier that until further notice The Railway Club is closed. There is a meeting for members this coming sunday which Jonah is attending and will know more after it. He has looked at another venue which he has told me about and is very similar to The Railway but this at present is just an option if the worst happens. He sends his apologies about this. Dave.

Picked this up a few years ago amongst a small box of boots with a copy of "No One There" on Tamla Motown for £3 each. Mines an issue by the way. Great record. Dave.

Hi folks, Just going thru some cassettes from the late 70's early 80's and heard couple of tracks. One is "Spellbound" - Betty Boo and other is called "Spaceland" but haven't got note of artist. Did they get released as singles and if so what labels,price etc and who recorded "Spaceland" which I believe has the same backing as "Going To A Happening". Thanks in advance Dave.

I know Vince very well.Just been speaking to him on the phone.The man loves his soul music whether its Northern,Sweet,Funk or whatever.There are some absolute beauties in there believe me. Will be round there hopefully this week.I believe he's going to start listing them separately from this saturday if there's no bids. I don't really want to block all Russian bids.Just seems to be same person using different id's. The winner 1st time hasn't even responded to Ebay.It just seems to be a pain in the ass when its a similar person/address and someone genuine wants it.

I don't know if anyone has encountered problems when selling to Russian bidders on ebay. I had a Frankie Crocker up for auction (blue 2nd issue) other week.Guy from Moscow wins it.Send off payment info get a very general reply back.Send another request off few days later no answer. After 7 days open a dispute to get my final value credit returned.Case still open. I then email him and ebay and tell them I'm relisting which I do.Blow me it finished last night and winning bidder was from Moscow.Different user name but similar address.Have sent off payment request but doubt I'll get a reply. Can I block all bids from Russia? I'd like to sell it to the second highest bidder but obviously I've got to wait for a week. Anyone else had problems with these guys? Dave.

Hi Rich, Wasn't that a vocal put over the original "Soul Symphony" for the market at the time.I have this on same label as above.Probably right about the reissue thing. Prefer Sons of Moses instrumental myself.
