    I picked up the Jayboy version good few years ago amongst a pile of other Jayboys in a 2nd hand record shop down here for the princely sum of £2.50. Didn't realise there was a slower version.

    It certainly was a hotbed back in the 70's.Coaches from all over East Lancs to Blackpool Mecca or last bus from Blacburn to Chorley to catch connection to Wigan.Those were the days.

    Was round at mates on monday night (Vince Ayres) and he dug a cassette out of him dj'ing at 100 club back in the 80's.Some great tunes on there Vince.One of which was too fast to dance to back then.

    The Compass Club,Torquay.Now there's a venue from the past.Went on holiday a couple of times in the 70's and always went in there. My first real night was Blackpool Mecca in the early 70's when IL & Curtis were behind the decks.Used to do the youth club thing in Blackburn and moved on from there.
