    Thought I would get a few photos of the Linotype Works building in Altrincham as they are part way through knocking the site down. Not too sure if certain parts are listed but got a few snaps to be on the safe side! My Great Grandfather worked here, My Father worked in the print trade and I work for the company who bought out Linotype Hell back in 1997 I believe. Thought these might be of interest to some folks!     Could it not just be that either their turntable is running too fast or yours too slow? I noticed on a recent sales list from a different dealer the sound clips seemed faster and having bought a record from them and put it on my turntable it indeed was.

    I had some bother a year or two ago. It just seems as though everything is aimed towards the buyer and the seller hasn't got a leg to stand on. Tried phoning eBay to resolve and they weren't interested! Good luck with sorting it!

    I've found it! I think £300 for a mint is pushing it but £342 for a VG copy with a chip is taking the biscuit. Thanks for pointing it out though. Cheers
