  1. Cheers Mal, I was thinking that as an option. Worth a try eh!
  2. Does anyone have a few Kent sleeves that they can sell me as I seem to be missing a few and a few are ripped. Im after a few of each as per photo... Any help would be much appreciated if you can PM me with how many you have available and how much you want for them. Cheers Mike!
  3. Pmd you
  4. On Sylves please. Let me know price and condition Cheers!
  5. Think I picked it up for a fiver off here a few months back, great record and at that price!
  6. I don't think it will be necessary on this occasion, I merely thought that £25 for the original was too good to be true and the chap did state he was looking for originals.
  7. That's the reissue though
  8. Otis Smith is a bit dearer than £30 at the mo! One on discogs for £150
  9. Only thing is with US eBay is postage can be pretty expensive and can take a few weeks, and on a few occasions I've had to pay an import tax at the post office. I think people slag it off because there are so many people passing boots off as originals and like I said about the condition, I've had a few that are a VG yet they've said it was mint and you've then got to try and find another copy. Ive then had to sell on the VG copy but honesty so I'm at a loss then!
  10. I've seen them go for more than £40. I don't think you see many at £15 unless people are selling them on here at that price, but like I say, haven't seen any.
  11. Great bit of advice, I've bought a bit off Des recently, cheap but decent records all with sound clips! Soul Source is a great place to buy vinyl. I used to get a bit off eBay but now realise why most folk refer to it as evil bay. If it's original and mint the chances are it's more like a VG, and you will have to trawl through hundreds of boots before you find an original.
  12. There have been a few threads very similar to this if you do a bit of digging on here you'll find em. Some top quality records that are underplayed can be found for less than £30.
  13. Not sure if it's been mentioned but all his feedback as a buyer is for pressings and reissues! Obviously has a decent label printer at home and is just sticking them on top.
  14. My original cost much less than that. Unbelievable!
  15. Glad somebody has asked. I have a 10 year old 2 channel mixer and was looking at upgrading to a new one, just as I had planned on purchasing a Behringer mixer off Amazon they stopped selling them! Really don't know what to go for now!
  16. Great underplayed record that DJ's are starting to spin now. Seen a few on discogs if that helps. Think there was one in the sales list last week too
  17. Just goes to show how many nights there are playing boots! But they might as well just play off a laptop and save the expense! Silly people!
  18. Oops, I really ought to read the full thread before replying! It's madness what people are paying for boots! They are surely people who are relatively new and haven't got a clue. On the Facebook pages there are people who time and time again ask what's on in a certain area that weekend, they clearly haven't heard of soul source! I've stopped looking on eBay now for records. You have to trawl through hundreds of listings that are mainly boots/pressings with the odd decent original. They then sell for silly money. It's much easier on the likes of here or discogs. Fair price, you know what you are getting, none of the bootleg bull$
  19. I got mine on goldmine sevens
  20. Do you still have velvelletes?
  21. Just had a read, brilliant playlists! Some great records and will have to try and get to one of your nights this year!
  22. I bought a couple of records after reading the top tips thread, also bought a few last year from this thread. Great for if you're starting out or haven't much to spend
