  3. Big shout for the tremendous "B Side" - "TO LOVE, TO LOVE"
  4. I have this on London American Label - Possibly the first time that I ever heard the Label "Phil La Of Soul" Albeit " PHIL OF SOUL" or "PHIL - SOUL" on the London Label for some reason. Remember wondering about this ("Then") Mysterious U.S.A Label. Another there at the birth of my collection. I've got to thank the people behind these 60s releases. - Didn't realize it at the time, but they carved a very deep notch in my Record Collection.
  5. Love BOTH sides, remember playing this when I first started collecting via the UK Direction Copy The Start of a Lifetimes collecting. Notice it doesn't mention Phil La Of Soul.
  6. Billy Stewart Discography (Soulful Kinda Music Link) >>> Billy Stewart <<<
  7. >>> Phil La Of Soul <<<
  8. Appears on various Label Variations, guessing on Catalogue for a while. Would this be true of the LP Extended Version. Was it Available throughout the same period and if so which Album.
  9. Thanks John, I had noticed the deadwax markings before on the Party time press, wrongly assuming that the Initial batch pressed up locally by the brothers held the Party time Logo prior to the Showtime launch. Really makes me wonder when or why the Party time Label was pressed.
  10. You're right John the Deadwax, the Frankford / Wayne acetate & the Beacon Label also have same. Why or when was it issued on Party time, for some strange reason I was always told it was first but in small number.
  11. A few Re-issues too, certainly sold well over the years.
  12. Party time, Quite Rare I would have thought with Very Limited copies ever pressed. However price doesn't always reflect that. Got my copy from Soul Bowl. Never seen a DEMO on Party time. Doesn't exist as far as I'm aware. Seem to remember something about local Interest in this following the Initial release on Party time the Reason for the Showtime release very soon after.
  13. Here's the Green & White DEMO. What kind of time span did this all happen. London American, Stateside Red & White, Green & White.
  14. Guessing there are US Stock Copies out there. Wayne Gibson also released in US around this time.
  15. I love listening to these. The way that each Instrument comes in & blends into the total mix. Truly Magnificent.
  16. I have made same size, I suspect that it is the DEMO to my Stock Copy Label Variation. We looked at this on a recent thread. >>> <<<
  17. I have the same DEMO. Looking at my Stock Copy, there appears to be a couple of Label Variations. Could be that there is more than one DEMO design / layout variation.
