  1. Yes, top one WEST COAST Monarch. I thought possibly "ARP" for the bottom one looking at the label layout. If so it should have the "ARP" Stamp in the deadwax.
  2. Here's the Matrix from the Original White DEMO on Vinyl
  3. Both DEMO & Stock Copy have Identical Deadwax. Both are on STYRENE and are Scratched - "ZTSC-107536" With " T I " 180 degrees, scratched in the Deadwax. Deadwax Width approx 14mm I don't know if this will help further, but when you hold to the light Exactly where the "6" is scratched there is a slight, but noticable dimple in the STYRENE. Also a very Tiny Dot/Dimple Under the "C-" where the ZTSC-107536 is Scratched. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------* BOOT 70s Press * ------------* BOOT 70s Press * The BOOT 70s Press is on Vinyl, Is a different shade of Green, Scratched Matrix, and the DEADWAX Width is about 8mm. The Vinyl is quite Pitted when held to the light. The Boot has "ZTSC-103536" Scratched in the Deadwax. Instead of "ZTSC-107536"
  4. Yes, that is correct. There is "SELECT SOUND" Stamped in the NO! NO! NO! side on my White DEMO
  5. The typeface is set out for the Arrow Design. I believe that they may have simply used the older Badge design to test the layout.
  6. Extremely sad news. Another of the greats has passed. R.I.P.
  7. No problem Rick. It is a mine field and so hard to generalise. It is quite difficult without seeing a scan or deadwax detail from your copies Does the smaller font copy have the "Arp" stamp in the deadwax. I would guess that The large font TIME / Running back and forth will be STYRENE with Delta # 79353 on the TIME side in the deadwax.
  8. I would say that the DEMOs were all produced around the same time for each release number. I always expect to find the following three presses MR stamp - MONARCH from the west coast. "Arp" - American Record Pressing Co. - Michigan "Nashville Matrix" Midwest press However, others can be found from pressing plants such as R stamped - RCA Records Pressing Plant, Rockaway ZTSC - COLUMBIA Records Chichago As far as the Stock Copies are concerned. The hits kept on catalogue normally with the same release number, could have later label designs etc when pressed over time.
  9. Yes and just when they started to become double A Sided DEMOs there is the odd exception. However, the Red Vinyl copy was Double A Sided for this G-7090 release.
  10. Yes they are double A Sided DEMOs and from different pressing plants. WEST COAST : MONARCH Delta # 79353 places it around the end of December 1969 / January 1970 ( X4KM -5515-1 )
  11. Very nice, thanks for posting. I have always like this record as either Vocal or Instumental.
  12. It must be one of only a handful of copies and extremely rare. A couple of collectors had previously told me that it existed is this variation titled "SALVATION". This is the first and only time that I have personally seen one.
  13. Thanks Peter. All is well now mate will be spending more time on here now. I had a diffcult and busy time last year when my 90 year old Father died. Spent many months prior with Hospital visits to see him etc. Daily visit to Soul Source by mobile a lot of the time. Thanks Paul. I am not sure of its source but it does look to be a re-issue. I seem to recall that I have seen some information surrounding these re-issues. When I find it I will post here. The original Yellow & Green Robert Thomas Vocal has been about in great number, I bought my copy for around a fiver in 2011. It is in demand currently so has increased in value as already mentioned. The original Yellow & Green Instrumental copy appears to be extremely rare and has undergone a curious title change at some stage. I bought this copy " THE IRON HORSE" for £40 in 2013.
  14. Catch it before it starts. Even has the alternate title for the instrumental written above SALVATION.
  15. Apparently there are copies of "The Men From Macon" on Yellow & Green titled "SALVATION" I have seen one on YouTube. Never been able to find a copy though. Took me years to find this variation.
  16. I'm not sure of quantity pressed or which titles were done, but I believe that they are later re-issues distributed by GRT using same release number. RE ISSUE : For 5590 "There Is" released twice, First as the B Side on 5574 so I'm guessing that GRT only re-issued certain release numbers.
  17. Just a thought. The key here may be Australia as I have seen stickers with similar wording on a few Australian London stock copies. https://www.45cat.com/label/london-au/16 Even though your record is a UK press it may have found its way as a promotion item in Australia for some reason.
  18. Unfortunately I cannot answer the question. However I have just found another on popsike. It does look exactly the same as the sticker on your copy. www.popsike.com
  19. One of the shortest intros, a few quick notes on the piano and Instantly recognisable. Smokey and the Fabulous Blades - Jerk, Baby Jerk.
  20. I have just listened to this on YouTube and it sounds to me like the AA-7005 Matrix on my AUDIO ARTS! AA-701 Same Vocal and Organ accompaniment.
  21. www.popsike.com www.popsike.com AUDIO ARTS! - 701 -The Incredibles - CRYING HEART - Has the same AA 7005 Matrix number as Carl Gilbert. I have not had the Carl Gilbert to compare but wonder if they are indeed the same take. (Master plate) AUDIO ARTS! 60,001 - The Incredibles - CRYING HEART. The three below have 6794 Matrix number.
  22. Earl Van Dykes I Can't Help Myself is another.
  23. Sheila Anthony - Livin' In Love is one of my favourites.
  24. It should be there as I have numbers at both sides of that release with the older multicoloured design. Although it would appear that it is only about in very small quantities.
  25. I have seen two different DEMOs so no doubt different pressing plants used. The one on 45cat with PLUG SIDE on the "TO PROVE MY LOVE " side. However, mostly like my copy. Both of my copies DEMO and Stock Copy have Identical Stamped Matrix. OR-123 and OR-124 with an "H" Stamp opposite.
