Thanks for this information. Was this as they were distributed as I bought two copies of Tobi Legend from Soul Bowl in the 70s. Both came in the Amy, Mala, Bell sleeve as pictured.
I only have the White DEMO to compare matrix.
Exactly the same regarding the ZTSC121582 with different letter as some ZTSC press are.
STAMPED ZTSC121582-1A
STAMPED ZTSC121582-1B
It is definitely not a recent reissue. Simply the later design label used at the end of its run.
Possibly as already suggested due to picking up airplay somewhere as the design changed.
It doesn't turn up that often. I have had my copy for years.
Apart from personal choice regarding the CARLA or KAREN release.
The pressing plant used can be noted at the end of the label matrix when viewing some ATCO / ATLANTIC record scans.
i.e.
BW = Bestway
PL = Plastic Products
SP = Specialty Records
MO = Monarch
I have an item showing at LANGLEY since Friday 12 October.
I am still waiting for an update via tracking.
It was quicker to get from South America to UK.
Now for whatever reason it is stuck.
I have not had any problem with polythene Covers, so far.
Anyone know if ALL the recently manufactured Clear Cello Bags are OK for Picture Sleeves, etc.
Some state acid free and lignin free which I believe has not always been the case.
My thanks as well to all who took part in this dilemma as both are fantastic records.
Purely on personal taste as obviously there's no right or wrong choice.
I absolutely love the Mirwood label and its output.
However torn and after much deliberation I finally chose Ernest Mosley.
I would say 60s as the same numbering sequence was used by PRODISA S.R.L. on some Tamla Motown Argentina releases before RCA Victor took over distribution.
I have these;
Tamla Motown TD-063-1 FOUR TOPS - I CAN'T HELP MYSELF / WITHOUT THE ONE YOU LOVE - TD-063-2
Tamla Motown TD-064-1 JR.WALKER - SHOTGUN / TUNE UP - TD-064-2
Tamla Motown TD-068-1 SPINERS - TOMORROW MAY NEVER COME / I'LL ALWAYS LOVE YOU - TD-068-2
Obviously a misprint of Spinners
Plus this one already posted above from 20th CENTURY FOX RECORDS
TD-085-1 Distributed by PRODISA S.R.L.
Motown did use another Midwest plant besides "ARP". These have the "Nashville Matrix" rather than "ARP" as mentioned above. This Test Press looks to be from the other Midwest plant. So I wouldn't expect to see the "ARP" stamp.
