  2. Pete, I dont' know if it helps but I've had anti slip on the labels that you mention, plus Vigor Spring & Glades As stated in my previous post, my U.S.A. copy has the address on the label. ATLANTA GEORGIA
  3. Hi Ken I like this too, It's also like "Hungry For Love". I haven't got it though, another great record from the Okeh Label.

  5. Hi Craig, Thanks for that, I've just contacted the seller. Also Thanks to Everyone who has replied to this Post, It just goes to show doesn't it. Right place, right time or you've had it.
  6. --> QUOTE(Geoff B @ Jan 7 2007, 03:41 PM) link Hi, I have both demos but neither of the issues. Hi Geoff Nice one, not at all easy, to secure both DEMO's. On the subject of the Atlantic Stock Copies, quite a few, Including my copy have felt pen through the title "Wonderful One" Why, I just don't know.
  7. QUOTE(Geoff B @ Jan 7 2007, 03:30 PM) link Is this the second , craig just beat me to first place.
  8. Wow, that was quick, thanks. Like you say, Wonderful record, the 3 copies that I have can be found quite easily. The White DEMO that Craig has, Virtually Impossible in my experience, THIS IS THE FIRST ONE I'VE SEEN.
  9. Hi Bri No I haven't got a DEMO or a Stock Copy of IT,S LOVE / GOOD IDEA. I have had chance at a couple of Stock Copies recently. Sometimes It's a case of right place right time. I have seen scans of the Stock Copy for IT,S LOVE / GOOD IDEA & apparently Manship has a Rare DEMO. (Detroit Mich) I just thought that "Gotta Find A Way" having an Atlantic Distributed release, meant that it should exist. I guess that it doesn't then, thanks for that
  10. Hi Jim Thanks, I will look out for the Album. I believe it has had a CD Release too.
  11. Hi Dave It's the one that Dave Moore uploaded Isn't it, less girlies as he puts it. Backstreet less girlies - funks -ric tic
  12. Hi Simon Dave Moore has recently uploaded this in the Refosoul Library Backstreet less girlies - funks -ric tic The Released Version on the B Side of the Vocal had the girly backing
  13. Hi Mel My freind Mick Cook, Introduced me to The Vonettes, The Chalfontes and many more. I well remember him bringing a pile of records to our house and saying, listen to this It's Brilliant. He always had some top sounds, the only time I ever saw a Blue Amy Stock Copy for Too Darn Soulful was Micks. He had a "Not A Chance In A Million" Stock Copy which he sold to me, He bought it back Months Later, sold me some others. Happy Days, Unfortunately he's no longer with us, He went to The Torch etc
  14. Hi Dave Thanks for that, I knew that I had read it somewhere.
  15. Hi Pete Nice one, I've never seen one of these before. I love the DEMO's but there's something about the M-G-M Stock copy, in a similar way to the Rca DEMO & Stock Copy. Nice to own.
  16. Hi Mel Me neither Touch My Heart - The Vonettes - Cobblestone 1910"] Van McCoy at his best. & Kendra Spotswood/Sandi Sheldon
  17. Hi Pete Thanks, I am sure that it has been stated somewhere on Soul Source that the lady on this Chris Bartley picture sleeve is actually her, I just can't find it. ------------For anyone that hasn't seen this ----------------WHEN VAN MET KENNI >>> The Sandi Sheldon Story <<<
  18. Hi Mel I've just been searching for the thread, I believe that it is Kendra Spotswood/Sandi Sheldon, I just can't find the recent thread where I read it.
  19. Hi Pete Isn't this the Photo from the Album, I believe the Lady is Kendra Spotswood Looks like they have used it for this single.
  20. Hi Mel No problem mate, thanks for helping, hope something is uncovered regarding The Ronettes.
  21. Whatever the arguments on this, I can't understand why someone felt the need to change the Zodiac label to Xodiac. There appears to be no attempt to change any other of the copyrighted logos. As with any material, the Limited Edition tag is always questionable. Unless a known quantity has been issued, and possibly numbered, from the copyright owners. "Limited Edition" may sell more than a Standard release. "Limited Edition" - How long is a piece of string. Unfortunately, I suspect, not everyone will know what is actually on offer here, with these records.
  22. Crazy Baby - Coasters - 3208 refosoul
  23. Hi Pleased you got your record mate, pays to be cautious though & thanks for bringing it to our attention. Just shows that there are some genuine sellers, unfortunately we need to share experiences with sellers from this part of the world, worth taking the time good, or bad, thanks.
  24. It's got to be one of the Best Ever Double Siders on Motown. Elusive on a DEMO - Never did get one.
