  1. Hi Paul For years I had these two without ever seeing the other DEMO & Stock Copy. It wasn't until I asked on Soul Source that I had the Green Sock & Other White DEMO confirmed. >>> Link <<< It's the same with Sleeves, some search and don't ever see any. Someone else thinks that they're not that rare. Right place, right time I suppose.

  3. Hi Malc I keep finding them as I open Mailers, I've even found a couple of records that I left in the Mailer for safe keeping. Spare copies at the time. --------
  4. Here is the other Jamie / Guyden Red Sleeve -------- -------- --------
  5. I still have most of my Soul Bowl lists in the Attic. Amazing what they had, even the Soul Packs 100 for £3 had good records in them. As you say they came through with all those pristine Original bags. On one of my many Visits to Kings Lynn I remember looking through the records and some were already prepared to be shipped to customers in belgium. There must be quite a few Rare Items over there.
  6. The Dearborn & General American are Definitely Rare. The Starday King LOOK is a generic Company Sleeve, same goes for Nashboro. There are various Motown, Cameo. I have Two different Date Sleeves, The Black one is Rarer than the Green. Same as the Jamie Guyden Red, I have 2 Versions of this one. Still looking for my Uptown, BOOM, Bang and others. By chance I had just done the same Freddie Chavez & Vel-vets Combination as Mel -------- I've a rather busy weekend, but will scan others as I find them in the Mailers. I was once told that the Beatles Vee-Jay was Valuable just for the Sleeve. Quoted £25 a few years ago.
  7. -------- -------- -------- -------- --------
  8. -------- Even though The Beatles are on this, the promotional copies were distributed with this sleeve for a short period of time.
  9. I shall post some more later, out gardening at the minute. Got to be done I suppose

  12. Yes John, look forward to that. --------
  13. Still got them, kept them in their mailers for safe keeping. Gonna get some later.

Hi I know what you mean, I was going for the lot in my Youth, Spent almost all my wages. That's the thing with collecting, got married, had kids, slowed the collecting, missed some really big tunes, wouldn't change a thing.
  15. Hi Dave Sad news. R.I.P. Played on so many Motown hits, that gave so much pleasure over the years. Pied Piper Productions, RCA etc He featured in Many Memorable Moments from "Standing In The Shadows Of Motown" A Giant.

Hi In my younger days, I could scan record Labels while looking through, elbow to elbow, plus scan others at each side of me. I can still remember some, when or where I bought, or saw a record. However, as time marches on, especially when trawling the net and an Auction is about to finish. I have been close to buying something that I already have in the collection. I do buy different variations of a record. DEMO Stock Copy etc, and have in the past bought spares from Soul Bowl to swap, but that was a conscious thing. Now I'm 50+, well ...... the memory ain't what it used to be.

Am I right in saying that ALL Original Motown related Acetates from the 60's were 10 inch.
  19. I found this when I was looking for The French Fries. Remember when this was big. Paul Humphrey - "Cochise" - Blue Thumb - 6773 refosoul
