  2. Hi Russ It looks like all the Golden World Releases has it as Barbra Mercer 12916 refosoul
  3. Hi Russ I have always assumed that the Golden World release was first. I base this on the ZTSC number - Golden World GW-27b ZTSC-104378 - Barbra Mercer GW-27a - ZTSC-104377 Ric-Tic RT-104 ZTSC-104458 - It sits between the two Golden World Releases. Golden World GW-28a ZTSC-104471 - GW-28b ZTSC-104377 The Later Vocal Golden World GW-41 Tony Michaels - ZTSC-107588 I guess that the "Instrumental" was a session, before they named themselves "San Remo Golden Strings" Hungry For Love - San Remo Golden Strings - Golden World - Ric-Tic 12921 refosoul I Love The Life I Live (And Live The Life I Love) - Tony Michaels - Golden World 12922 refosoul It Isn't uncommon to just have "Instrumental" i.e. "Sidra's Theme" Sidra's Theme - Instrumental - Sidra - 13620 refosoul It's Barbra on this release too Hey - Barbra Mercer - Golden World - 14263 refosoul I hope that this helps.
  4. Love On A Rampage - The Perigents - Maltese - 14878 refosoul
  5. No problem mate, anytime. The "Lets Get Into Something" side was the one that I knew, I had only played the other side once. possibly their first record? Let's Get Into Something - The Perigents - Maltese - 14877 refosoul
  6. One Girl Too Many - The Perigents - Maltese - 14876 refosoul
  7. Hi Mel I have played it, I knew it more by the "Let's Get Into Something" Side, I'll give it a spin.
  8. On the Subject of DEMO's, around the same time I picked this one up. There isn't a release number on this one, It appears to be promoting her Album "Never Can Say Goodbye", However, I figure If this exists, were any other Phonogram Soul releases treated to the same Luxury as a DEMO. It's a bit better than just placing a sticker on the label.

  17. Hi Mandy Manships 3rd Edition has it at £25. Let Me Try - The Odds And Ends - Today - 11036 refosoul
  18. Hi Miff Unfortunately, No, I haven't................ Yet Seriously though, I had to slow down with the collecting when I settled down, Married, Kids, Mortgage etc. When I was single the collecting bug bit me in a big way. I tried for the lot. I've still got the collecting bug but have to watch the funds a bit closer.
  19. Hi Sean Yes, I am from Donny. I used to go to Boylans in the early days I was there quite a few times in a week. Used to travel through to Conisborough on my Lambretta, Happy Days. Violet Mays, you're right about the stuff they had in that shop, Amazing. I used to play records at "The Drum" in Bentley.
  20. Hi Sean It was the early 70's, trying to remember. I bought "Seven Days Too Long" on Big T & Competition Ain't Nothing" on Action - from a Stall in the Market, they also had a shop in the town. What I can remember is I arrived at the old Rotherham Station, and walked into town. Can't be far I remember thinking, WRONG Our paths will have crossed I'm sure, I used to go through to Rotherham, Sheffield (Violet Mays) etc
  21. Always loved this record. Great Label Atlantic, Here are three from Willie Tee. Walking Up A One Way Street - Willie Tee - Atlantic - Thank You John - Willie Tee - Atlantic - Teasin'You - Willie Tee - Atlantic - ------Willie Tee At the Carolina Beach Music Awards
  22. Thanks Joan
  23. Thanks for that, looking at the scans, I picked these up from Rotherham Market in the 70's alongside various other DEMO's. Polydor didn't issue many Custom DEMO's, I guess this is also as far as they got regarding a Mojo DEMO. They could have made a lot more of this brilliant label and given us more to collect, White DEMO etc
