Gloria Jones Come Go With Me
Hi Adam There is a cost to us all in time spent googling things. A database facility would be Invaluble. The "access to the database for a set amount of time rather than a price per succesful search" I think that you are right, it would be a more popular option. I would use it.

Gloria Jones Come Go With Me
Hi John Thanks, I would have thought that it would be used, but the cost of setting it up against use. I can understand your caution.

Gloria Jones Come Go With Me
Hi Ken Now that is a good question, and it got me thinking. I don't remember seeing any Canadian DEMO's for any release. So is there any chance of finding a Canadian DEMO for Gloria Jones. I have a few Canadian releases, various labels but ALL are Stock Copies.

Strange Record On A Well Collected Label
Hi I was looking for another record, while I was looking I found this. Anyone know why this Label was used for projects like this. I must give it a play, although I'm not expecting anything but dialogue & an odd tune. Strange that a Label known for Ska/Reggae & Soul releases should be used in this way.

Hi Miff Yes, I remember the thread, this is the Green Label Styrene Original, as described. I bought it in the 70's, you don't tend to see many copies, however, I think Pat Brady currently has a copy at £75. >>> LINK <<< Here is a Link to one of the recent Threads about this record. >>> LINK <<<

Isn't It Time For An Alternative For Ebay?
Obviously I am aware that ebay sells a lot more that just records, anything and everything in fact. However, regarding Vinyl, ebay appears to have built up a Market, just to knock it back down again by charging high fees. Many bargains thus disappearing. I don't know if they realise or really care as they have many other things being sold daily. An alternative would not be necessary if ebay decided to change their prices a little. I was buying lots of records for a few dollars, taking a chance on stuff I hadn't heard etc, selling a few non soul or spares, but it just isn't as cheap anymore. Gemm, Musicstack etc mostly set sale but bargains still to be had.

Butch Baker Boot?
Thanks for that, on a similar subject, one thing that I haven't seen is a DEMO for "Working At The Go Go" / "The Fat Man". Anyone know if they are Stock Copy only, surely there must be a St Lawrence 1011 DEMO, it's just I haven't seen one ..... Yet! Hopefully someone will post one as I've often wondered. In addition, whereas "Robin At The Go Go" and "Working At The Go Go" Obviously kept the same Matrix. (Being Instrumental) 20088 "Batman At The Go Go" has 20087 "The Fat Man" has 20091 According to a recent post, they had to reissue and remaster for copyright reasons. (i.e. "Batman" & "Robin" reference)
