  1. Hi Thanks for the Info, Was it Instrumental or Vocal like these two.
  2. Soul Symphony, and it's different titles, if that counts. Makes you wonder why it kept changing name, even in the U.K.
  3. & Now the Collectables, Label. If you Include U.K. Labels the list goes on, of course.
  4. I have tou-sea 134, haven't played it in a while though. Thanks for the Listing Info.
  5. Hi Al Sorry it's taken a while, I couldn't find it, but better late than never. As promised Matrix Number "DJ 003 A # 1 V A420 1 1 2"
  6. I remember Bill, he used to live in Thorne didn't he, I haven't seen him for years. Must be the Early/Mid 70's since I saw him.
  7. Also check out YouTube >>> Silly, Silly Fool <<< >>> Long After Tonight Is All Over <<< >>> What's It Gonna Be <<< While you are there look for the many Dusty Springfield, Motown Covers etc Nice record to own especially with Picture Sleeve, makes it that bit more collectable.
  8. Hi Tom Hope so, always good to hear that things like this Picture Sleeve exist. I don't know if anyone has actually listed the Okeh stuff that did have a Picture Sleeve. I'm not sure which was the first Okeh to have a Picture Sleeve, but as already mentioned have seen quite a few of the Major Lance singles treated to this extra collectable Item.
  9. Hi Dave Yes,why not I'll get on to it, I have a few on Phil-La Of Soul. Can't help with the Karate Discography though unfortunately.
  10. Hi Kev I am trying to record this in, had numerous computer problems over the last few weeks, Just bringing this to the top again, hope to get a Sound Clip shortly, unless someone beats me to it.
  11. Hi Tom Wow, gotta say I've never seen the Picture Cover for this. I have seen the Major Lance / Walter Jackson / Artistics etc, but not this one.
  12. Hi Mick Thanks so much for posting this, Label Variations such as these, I find Fascinating. Always difficult to find which Variation is the rarer, but just goes to show that just because one copy is different to another doesn't always suggest foul play. I can only assume that because Columbia pressed their own records, we are witnessing different times of promotion. Possibly in the order 1A - 2A etc with the corresponding Label & credit layout.
  13. Hi Pottsy So it would come down to who had the Orange Labels done, and when. I have 2 Orange Labels and 0 Yellow. The Trans-American - Trans - Trans-American is still a puzzle. Why did they keep changing names if you follow the Telephone Number, route.
  14. Hi Yes, I was trawling through Refosoul to see which version was uploaded. The only CD I know of with the correct middle section is this one, which apparently was remastered from TAPES/45's
  15. Hi Pottsy Yes, no problem with the Trans copy being Legitimate. I just couldn't see it being pressed before the Orange Copy. Is that what is being suggested. I would be shocked if it was, but ? ................ anyone
  16. Hi Pottsy I would agree with the order apart from the Trans copy, only the Telephone Number suggests 2nd Press. However the Name Change suggests a different time period. I couldn't see them changing from Trans-American to Trans & then back to Trans-American. Just a thought, Also, would they all be pressed at the same pressing plant, and if so which plant. and Did other releases recieve similar treatment.
  17. Brilliant, Soul Source at it's best. Thanks for all the Information. Here's my copy, as usual there's always more to collect, fascinating stuff.
  18. Bump! 24 Hours to go to end of Auction - Starting price £13.50 - No Reserve.
  19. Manships 3rd Edition has it at £150 Fantastic record by the way, I was surprised it wasn't more. £200 for the Stock Copy. I only remember it on the Soul Bowl list once, although it is a long time ago now, tried for it but not a chance. I would have thought it was one of the harder records to obtain, which may not be fully reflected in the Price.
  20. Just put this one up on ebay, Mod related - Instrumental. Sound Files Available on listing. Click on record label to go to ebay listing. Vg+
  21. Often wondered the same, the latest list arrived last week, in perfect order.
  22. Hi Pete Never seen him before, brilliant. One of my favourite early sounds. < -- Bought this one recently. I still have a place in the collection for this, brilliant Picture Cover, by the way NEVER SEEN THAT BEFORE. The Kid, Not a rare record, but reminds me of the Early Days of collecting, found a copy in a second hand shop, wonder what else was there that I missed, there used to be thousands of 60's records at our local second hand shop. is that the Original release in the Country of this records origin, Belgium I think it was although I'm probably wrong.
  23. Hi Adam, Agree with you on this, membership fee etc. Hi John I don't know if this helps you, I guess it depends how many others are like minded on this.
  24. Hi Adam There is a cost to us all in time spent googling things. A database facility would be Invaluble. The "access to the database for a set amount of time rather than a price per succesful search" I think that you are right, it would be a more popular option. I would use it.
  25. Hi John Thanks, I would have thought that it would be used, but the cost of setting it up against use. I can understand your caution.
