  1. Me neither, never ever seen one, Thanks for Posting.
  2. Hi Tony I would guess two different pressing plants. Each DEMO normally should have a Stock Copy. Also East Coast / West Coast Pressing Plants were Involved. The East Coast DEMO of "Night Owl" pictured here is on Vinyl. Noticably the Artists Name is at the top and the Title at the bottom. The Stock Copy is on Styrene and is West Coast, the opposite appears to happen on the West Coast press, with the Title at the top & The Artists name at the bottom. ---------------------------------------------------------------STOCK COPY This DEE DEE SHARP has at least 2 DEMO's, I am told that a White DEMO exists for DEE DEE SHARP The Stock Copy for Night Owl in the picture above, should have a DEMO which I suspect may be like the DEE DEE SHARP Red DEMO below.
  3. Dramatics - Inky Dinky Wang Dang Doo The Exciters - Blowing Up My Mind (Always wondered how you start to write a record like these, with such Clever/Crazy Lyrics)
  4. Hi Pete Thanks for the Update, a rare find Indeed. I love it when there's a discovery like this. It proves that other copies may just possibly still be out there, and that all of the searching is worth it. Once again, Well Done Mate.
  5. According to >>> Anoraks Corner <<< The PaMeLiNe copy is the Local release. The other Labels are National Release. The PaMeLiNe Copy is the one I have yet to acquire. The Pink rarer than the Yellow I believe. Neither The Vault copy or the Palmer copy are easy though. My guess is that being the Local release, it would be the PaMeLiNe copy that you are after.

  8. Hi Dave Brilliant Show, I've been busy but made sure that I didn't miss it, First Class.
  9. But If You Must Go - Eddie Parker - I'll Run Your Hurt Away - Ruby Johnson - Volt -
  10. Not in the same price range or rarity, another Chubby Checker - Looking At Tomorrow - Pressed on West Coast & East Coast. However I've only ever seen DEMO's. Strange goings on at the end of his time with Parkway.
  11. Hi I understand what you are saying, If describing an Item as a Boot as Steve mentions avoids the listing being pulled and the seller has done all that they can regards the description then it is Indeed up to the buyer. Also I didn't realise that some Boots were Valued so high, as to Eclipse the Original pricewise. As I said it is a difficult area.
  12. Hi Dave Quality once again, I subscribed for another year at the Weekend. Can't wait.
  13. Hi Pete Well done Mate, never seen one ever. Until Now.
  14. I compare listening to our music, to listening to The Classics. Because they are Classics, we discovered them earlier than other people, and that's it really. In years to come, others, somewhere will be doing the same. As it is with the classics, Whichever way you enjoy them is a personal thing. Some go to listen to the music others listen at home or in the car Some put on the wig and pretend conduct the orchestra with the baton. Each in their own way love the music, the scene, Our Scene.
  15. Hi I would also say that the Stock Copy takes some finding, I used to have a Stock Copy in the 70's but sold it The 3rd Edition has it at £400 but doesn't specify DEMO or Stock Copy and of course there is now the 4th Edition. Either copy is a Once in a lifetime find, a brilliant record too.
  16. Hi Mark Agree about the Playlist, what a shame that in 2007 we can't have the freedom to play without the constraint of such on a Major Radio Station. Look forward to the next two shows, however, sad that it is the final two.
  17. The B.B.C. found their way to host a few shows during the Year & New Year one off. "All Singing, All Dancing, All Night" How about a regular weekly Show for a couple of hours like Soul Shack All Year. Missed Opportunity Beeb. All these Radio Stations, They play music 24 Hours a Day, but somehow manage to neglect the Best Music ever made. Strange.
  18. I've just found my old Samanthas Badge, still sewn to the Shirt. Not that the shirt fits me anymore. It might have to be framed, Happy Days. I can't quite remember which was my last All Nighter, Cleethorpes or Samanthas.
  19. This is a difficult area, if we are to call them pressings then we would or should know. If we call them Boots then ebay pulls the listing. The Set Sale idea sounds good, no attempt to have a Boot spiraling out of control up to the Value of a Genuine Original. The 70's Soul Sounds as John mentions, have become collectable over the years. I wonder if Other repro's come under the same scrutiny on ebay. i.e. Someone saying "Don't Buy That Mate, it ain't an Antique" Much in the way of Retro Fashion has been produced over the years Antique looking or 50's Style etc I suppose it comes down to the description. We do need a term used to let all know that they are Boot's without ebay pulling the plug. "Pressing" is as good as any term to my way of thinking. There is a Market, if the buyer knows exactly what is on offer then ...... and In the case of the the Soul Sounds Label etc it might be exactly what the buyer is looking for.

  22. The first clip may have been removed However, Here's another Rare Version. LEN BARRY - 1 2 3
  23. Apparently this one is a Vinyl original from 1968 worth £350. >>> LINK <<<
  24. I don't ever remember this being cheap, In the 70'S on one of my many trips to Soul Bowl I saw one being purchased for £50. A lot of money in those days and compared to the others on sale at the time it stood out as Rare.
  25. It is S**T!! , but on the other hand, I wonder if it get's "Sweeter As The Days Go By"
