  1. Definitely be Interesting to see a scan etc.
  2. It surprises me that it may not be rare. Looking at the Layout of the Label credits I am assuming that it was from the same pressing plant as my copy. Hard to piece things together all these years later, but I wonder if they were part of the very first batch to be pressed. Having said that the DEMO has the Artist Credits. We may never know, It's certainly strange but does give us more to collect to complete the Label I suppose.
  3. Hi Pete I've found at least two different variations for most of the Mirwoods. Here is the 5531 WITH GROUPS NAME - It is on Vinyl. The one to date with the most variations is "Baby, Do The Philly Dog" One of the DEMO's is DOUBLE A the other has the "Western Movies" B'Side Suggesting several visits to the pressing plant. However "Baby,Do The Philly Dog" no doubt sold a heck of a lot more at the time. than The Mirwood 5531 That one you have has got to be Mega Rare. I've certainly never seen one, I would suggest it was one that escaped the pressing plant. I wouldn't have thought that they would knowingly allow copies to circulate with the error.
  4. Hi Macca I've just been searching as there was a thread a while ago More Information >>> LINK <<<
  5. Issued on Black Label Verve & Blue Label Verve Brilliant Double Sider - Never tire of hearing either side personally. Yellow DEMO belongs to the Black Stock Copy---------- -belongs to the Blue Stock Copy I think the Light Blue DEMO was booted but with slightly different design.
  6. "Nashville Matrix" Denotes Original ? Is that never released, or never intended to be released but some slipped out.
  7. Certainly would be nice, can we ever be 100% sure with releases such as this one. I've often wondered about the reasoning behind the DEMO. Just how much thought they gave about White, Multicoloured or just the Stock Copy with a Sticker. Some labels appear to have tried all three variations for the same release, and others none. It may have been dictated by the cost I suppose. We have had similar threads about other records "Out On The Floor" by Dobie Gray on Charger was one discussed, it followed previous releases on Charger that had a DEMO and then Nothing..... It remains, as far as I am aware Only Available as a Stock Copy on Charger. Strange Goings On, It's fun to search for the elusive stuff though, whether it be a Rare DEMO or Rare Stock Copy. as Pete-S proved with the amazing find of The Camp - Marching on Scepter Things do still turn up, even in 2007.
  8. THE CLARK BROTHERS
  9. Manships 3rd Edition has it at £20 If you're buying, it may be worth you searching out the slightly harder release Manships 3rd Edition has this one at £30 You Busted My Mind / Your Kind Of Lovin' I think that both files are on Soulclub if you want to listen to it. I hope that this helps
  10. I've just noticed it's another C.D. that says Volume 1 I wonder if any of these have ever made it to Volume 2 Certainly hope so. I'll keep searching, as already mentioned It would be interesting to know if there is any unissued stuff.
  11. Hi Paul That looks a great C.D. Mate I'll have to search a copy out. Often wondered why "the Laws Of Love" hasn't made it onto a C.D. yet. At least I don't think that it has. Arctic is one of my favourite labels too.
  12. Hi Paul They are spread across a few different C.D.'s One of the first that came to mind was this one. I don't know if there was a Volume 2 etc Features a few of the Arctic records. Volcanos - Help Wanted, Volcanos - You're No.1 Volcanos - Storm Warning Kenny Gamble - Ain't It Baby Kenny Gamble - The Joke's On You Barbara Mason - Don't Ever Want To Lose Your Love Barbara Mason - Bobby Is My Baby The Temptones - Girl, I Love You Honey & The Bees - Why Do You Hurt The One Who Loves You Honey & The Bees - Dynamite Exploded Plus a couple of LP Tracks from The Ambassadors If I'm All You Got (I'm All You Need) You Gave Me Somebody To Love Many Others from other Philadelphia Labels. BEAR FAMILY RECORDS BCD 15 844 AH & this one has Volcanos - A Ladys Man However, this one states Digitally remastered from Original Tapes/45's GOLDMINE GSCD 8Z I hope that this helps.
  13. My copy of "I'm Spellbound" came from Soul Bowl in the 70's, As did most of my records.
  14. The Label used to have the Number underneath the Artist at the bottom of the label. I have a few already scanned, One has the number at the side and is a later number. Possibly a later run of Denise LaSalle, not sure if different pressing plants were used, but I suspect that there would be. Here is a scan from PopSike. The type of press looks very different, and has the number at the side.
  15. Worth every penny In my opinion. It's one of those Classic records.
  16. Hi Keith According to Manships 3rd Edition. DEMO £30 Stock Copy 15 Not sure what the 4th Edition Prices are. I bought my copies from Soul Bowl, I have seen a few Stock Copies since but only a couple of DEMOs. The only BOOT I have ever seen is the OOTP Copy as already posted.
  17. Only released once on Golden World GW-40 The Stock Copy is Extremely Rare. Manships 3rd Edition has the White DEMO AT £150 and the Stock Copy at £300 I'm not sure what the current prices are though. As far as I know only one Label Variation Exists for GW-40 However some of the releases have a couple of slightly different Variations to the Credits, Layout etc Suggesting different Runs at the pressing Plant, whilst keeping the same release number. GW-20 Has 2 Different White DEMO's and 2 Different Stock Copies We have a scan of the other White DEMO on Hitsville Soul Club of America I hope that this helps. Re-Recorded for the Contempo release I believe.
  18. Sad Loss Indeed. Download Video Youtube Link I remember buying "Walking Up A One Way Street" on Red Atlantic One of my first purchases & Still in the collection. Never thought I would ever see a Video of him. As already stated, one of the Artists that first attracted my ears to this wonderful Music scene. R.I.P.
  19. Awesome Version.
  20. A Brilliant Record. The first time I saw this Video was last year, I then had to buy the Single, Somehow I missed it on release. Both purchased for a few Dollars, Bargain.
  21. Hi Tony Thanks for posting. Download Video Youtube Link
  22. Hi Paul Pleased you've found a copy Mate. Why this record, as you say "Drifted to obscurity" amazes me. Top Sound, and a bargain too, the DEMO is harder to find, However, The Issue isn't easy.
  23. >>> Pat Brady Has A White DEMO of LEE DAVID for £250 <<<
  24. Hi Mark Fantastic Show once again, Consistent Quality from start to finish. All the Best with whatever you do next.
