Pameline - The Detroit Executives - Cool Off
Hi Ady I have placed the three in the order that they possibly came out. The Test Press possibly done as the Green Copy had the fault. The senario that you mention has crossed my mind.

Pameline - The Detroit Executives - Cool Off
All Three were bought Via Soul Bowl I must have another look at the Matrix to try to determine if the Test Press is of the Green or Orange Press. -Withdrawn Stock Copy -Test Press - With "Best Wishes Popcorn Wylie" -Stock Copy I don't know how many Test Press copies they had, I should have the List Somewhere where It was featured one week. As I remember It, John was In close contact with Popcorn at the time.

Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
Hi Steve Another I haven't seen, Nice One. I may be wrong, but suspect that it is Extremely Rare. If some of these Canadian releases were easy, I would have expected someone to have Offered them for sale on mass, over the years.

Thanks, I was Just wondering If any of these were Officially Issued for Sale. The Two Chubby Checker almost 100% No. Chubby Checker - "You Just Don't Know" - West Coast DEMO Only apart from an East Coast Test Press. Chubby Checker - "Looking At Tomorrow" - West Coast DEMO & East Coast DEMO Only ( When I first looked for this one, I assumed there would be a Stock Copy - Never Seen One?) Yvonne Baker - "You Didn't Say A Word" Christine Cooper - "Heartaches Away My Boy" Janie Grant - "My Heart Your Heart" Vickie Baines - "Country Girl" - East Coast DEMO & Stock Copy. These appear to have lost their way a bit at the Promotion Stage. with many of the other releases on the Label so common, and yet the ones we collect are so difficult.

I haven't got either DEMO or Stock Copy, but there's a scan on PopSike.com Just wondering, are they all East Coast, or are there West Coast & East Coast Versions.

Touch Of Velvet
Theme Tune from The German TV >>> BEAT CLUB <<< on which Dave Lee Travis was one of the Hosts. Somewhere between Show 8 & 45 If you click on the story part 2. You can also listen to the Theme Tune. by Mood Mosaic, on the first page. I have the Second City Sound on Major Minor which was from a Bargain Bin outside a Shop in Doncaster. They were Nearly all the Major Minor Label in the Bargain Bin. & at the time in the 70's I only Managed a Columbia Re-Issue of Mood Mosaic. I'll have to dig my copies out for another listen.

Us London & Decca Distributed Labels
Hi Pete I don't know If this is of any help. Just looking through my Hi DEMO's, the Earliest I have is 2075 Which is White & Black Just a few Numbers on and the Orange Multi Shade Label Appears for the DEMO. Might Just be that my copy of "20-75" is from a different pressing plant. However, I was wondering If it was around this time that they Started the Trend of Orange DEMO's. Which looking on >>> SoulfulKindaMusic <<< was 1964

Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
I travelled all over in the 70's looking for records Think I remember seeing the White & Black Tamla_Motown, I probably missed the Yellow Tamla thinking they were U.S.A. at the time. I'm not sure when they changed to Tamla_Motown in Canada, Unusual to see the other Motown Label OutPut with the Tamla Globe Logo.

As Pete Correctly States, the Delta Clinches It #102402. 70's Press Styrene.- Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
Thanks Dave I think you are spot on here, Rarity doesn't always attract the High price tag. I love the U.S.A. copies, which form the Majority of my collection. However, I remember seeing a Canadian - Capitol - Gloria Jones - Come Go With Me. I have the U.S.A. DEMO on Uptown, From time to time I see other DEMO's for sale or in peoples Collection. How many Canadian Copies of this have I seen on Capitol, One, possibly two., and they were scans. I wonder If it was a Similar situation to the London American Label in the U.K. Where, If my Information is correct, they were Obliged to press small quantities of the American OutPut.- Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
Some excellent records there Mate. I haven't seen hardly any of them before on a Canadian Label, Marie Knight and Kurt Harris, loverly. I remember seeing a Scan of the Steinways on Sparton and The Precisions on Stone. Here's a couple of mine, Infinitely easier.- Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
I always thought that the Early Tamlas were worth collecting on Canadian. As you know all on Tamla Globe but with the U.S.A. Numbering System. Always puzzled me why they don't tend to be priced higher. We see sought after rarities from Europe and Australia. To find a 60's recording in 2007 in Ex to Mint condition, produced in lesser quantity, surely not that easy.- Realistic Values For Canadian 45's?
It's so difficult with Canadian Issues. I only have a few Canadian Copies in the Collection However, Value ? I don't know If anyone really knows Quantities of Production compared to U.S.A. copies. In my Experience, I can't say I've ever seen Multiple Canadian copies of any Title, and I can say I have seen some nice Items on Canadian Labels which is Obvious judging by the 3 Above. One thing I do remember regarding the Canadian Pressing Plants, The Early Canadian Tamla Globe Vinyl copies were considered of high quality. Sorry I can't be of any further help.- There's That Beat - Next Issue
Hi Dave An Excellent Magazine, Collectable in It's Own right. Packed with Info, a must have, Quality Publication. Can't wait.- Morris Chestnut 45
Hi Shep There are two DEMO's, one of which does look like a Stock Copy from the "TOO DARN SOULFUL" side. However, it has "PLUG SIDE" on the "YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE" Side. 981 Is a styrene Monarch & Delta # 65704 on one side & 65704-X the other. The strange thing is (considering that the other DEMO has the Labels Reversed) is that the PLUG SIDE has 65704-X. The -X following a Delta Number, normally denotes the B Side? AMY 981 is Styrene with a "B" Matrix STAMPED in the Deadwax Has the Labels Reversed The Blue Label AMY Stock copy is the rarest and hardest to obtain. A Friend of mine had this years ago, the only time I've seen one, other than a scan. I've got both DEMO's in the collection, the Blue AMY Stock Copy is virtually impossible, hope you find one. The Blue AMY scan below is from Popsike.com https://www.popsike.com/php/quicksearch.php...x=0&y=0 IT'S ALWAYS WORTH A LOOK ON POPSIKE.COM WHEN VALUING RECORDS It was Booted on Renfro, I will try to add a Scan later when I find the record. Not sure if they were different Takes.- Barbara Mills - Queen Of Fools
Large Text also on the Original DEMO The Re-Issue has the smaller Text & Date on Label --------------Re-Issue --------------Re-Issue- Jackie Shane-in My Tenement-sue-boot ?
Hi Pete Fortunately someone has, here It Is.- Lou Pride - I'm Común Home In The Mornún
Hi Bart I think that It was Booted on White or Blue. However I think that I have seen a Black Label. I have seen them between £10-£20. I'm not sure how common they are, some of the Boots are now getting scarce.- Lou Pride - I'm Común Home In The Mornún
There's some fantastic Information regarding Pressing Plant Matrix at >>> ANORAKS CORNER <<< Including a Look up Grid on 60's Monarch Delta Numbers. - Gwen Owens
