  1. Yes, I've just been on there. These make you think, found at the Home of a Pressing Plant worker, in Coloured Vinyl. >>> https://www.tefteller.com/html/45s_page1.html <<<
  2. >>> TEFTELLER <<< Strange to try to sell something and yet comment in such a Negative way.
  3. Merry Christmas and A Happy New Year To all on Soul Source. Roger, Sue, Michael & Michelle
  4. Same to you Mark, and to all on Soul Source.
  5. That's my bid stuffed then. Oh for a Lottery Win. Nice record Mate, hope it does well for you.
  6. Could be, and very nice too if it is. As I said earlier I'm sure it will be an Original, Canadian : well not to everyones taste but I like them, and must be rare if it is Canadian. Out of Interest and by complete coincidence Ken has Just Posted a Canadian WAND of Roscoe Robinson - That's Enough - >>> LINK <<< in the Media Section. Might partake in a Tot of Whiskey myself later today, as I am off work over Christmas for a change.
  7. Hi Steve I'm still hoping that your copy is OK. Looking forward to the scan. I'll have a look at the Matrix on my two & Post them up. Since your first post I've been on the hunt over the Internet to see if anyone has Multiples of Maxine Brown. I have to say that If it is a recent BOOT I couldn't find anything.
  8. I think that it is OK. As far as I'm aware It hasn't been Booted. I have the DEMO to the red Lettering copy and also another Wand Label Variation. There are still Mint records to be found in the U.S.A. WWW.Popsike.com & There was the Re-Issue on the Mulit-Coloured, Mottled Wand Label.
  9. Motown finally waking up to what they let go? Why don't they record new stuff in the 60's/70's Style. There must be Artists and producers capable of creating such a thing. Instead they appear to have adopted a different formula where each track becomes incredibly similar & boring. Go to almost any wedding reception and it's the Motown Classics that Kick Start the Dance floor. The DJ then turns to the Charts of the day and people of all ages sit down. I do like some rap music etc, but surely someone talking and wagging their finger to the camera has had it's day, Or the smooth sound-alike cute well shot video, that attempts to call itself R&B Let's have something that we can dance to and enjoy.
  10. OUCH! Indeed. I have heard a few people say, I've got some records, they're all pressings, They're In the loft or garage in a box. Just shows, you never know.
  11. Thanks John

  13. I wonder what the seller is thinking right now. May be happy with the £238, after all probably assumed it was a Boot (& who could blame them) Could even know now, or be thinking what the F........ ?
  14. The Top Soundfile at £20 plays all four.
  15. This clinches It for me Pete, The Bootleggers must have pressed similar quantities of all the titles surely.
  16. I suspect that when Original copies came into the country, just like any other at the time they were overlooked. Problem being that Soultown had been selected as an Authentic looking, cheap to produce 2 colour label for the other BOOTs. I must also say that untill this thread, I would have been just as cautious when bidding, It's only by swapping thoughts and Information that things like this come to light. As already stated, It looks like "Someone got the bargain of the year"
  17. Only ever seen this one The others quite easy to pick up at the time, Never seen The Sweets - Satisfy Me Baby / Something About My Baby
  18. Ceratinly looks the business, these are genuine Soultown. ------------* BOOT * ------------* BOOT * The others were a different Yellow altogether, I think. Difficult when It's a Photo though.
  19. My thoughts exactly, never, ever seen one. I have the "more common" boot with the Instrumental and some of the other Titles on Soul Town Boots.
  20. A Few Tracks have been released recently on E.P./ Single, Very Short clip here >>> LINK <<<
  21. It is a Minefield, Your scan does look like it should be Styrene, which should have the Matrix stamp. -- Check the Deadwax. I am a little concerned at the width of the Deadwax on your scan.
  22. "Nashville Matrix" clearly Visible, plus the large centre cuts clean through the red & white checks with no white crescent. Exactly like the Non "Mike Terry" Credit variation.
  23. Here is a >>> LINK <<< to a recent thread about this record. I only have Manships 3rd Edition which lists; DJ Vinyl Black & White £300 DJ Styrene Red Swirl £250 Stock Styrene Yellow Swirl £300 I'm not sure what todays prices are but it does differ slightly depending on which one. This is one of the Original DEMO's (Vinyl) I have the Vinyl Version of this, which has the "Bell Sound" & The "Nashville Matrix". Both Sides. On the "Nothing Can Compare To You" Side. DeadWax as follows. @ 06 Oclock "Bell Sound" Stamped @ 05 O'Clock "ZXSE-12304 RE - 1D" Scratched @ 02 O'Clock "Nashville Matrix" Stamped @ 12 O'Clock "5" Scratched
  24. Is it a DEMO or Stock Copy, Vinyl or Styrene.
