  1. Hi Mel Thanks Mate, I still love this record too.
  2. Thanks for that, I suppose they can't be too careful. Just hope that they are if they open our packages.
  3. Just had a look on GEMM >>> LYNN BAILEY <<< I'll keep looking, haven't found much else at the moment.
  4. >>> SIMILAR THREAD - U.S. POSTAGE TIMES <<< Could this be one of the reasons why records are taking longer to arrive. Must admit that so far I haven't noticed any Customs Activity, other than a Longer wait for the records to arrive
  5. Yes, these two look so similar. I bought the "R" Stamped Original DEMO from Soul Bowl Whereas The "H" Stamped one the source is questionable.
  6. Thanks, Strange how all of a sudden records are taking longer to arrive. In 2008 you would expect progress, rather than the opposite. U.S. Postage Prices have Increased too.
  7. Anyone, still waiting. I had some Posted 22-01-08. Not too concerned, as mentioned previous Post. Just wondering how others are doing regarding U.S. Post. to UK. To compare current WAITING TIME, my records were posted from the East Coast.
  8. Hi Adam I'd love to be able to help with this one, Unfortunately It's one that I've never owned. Hope to one day, when funds allow, but I'm collecting such a lot of stuff lately. From your description regarding DELTA 62554-X It does appear to be OK as it is a "B Side" and the "-X" is there. Mainly Mirwood Monarchs are STYRENE However one of my copies of "The Duck" is a Vinyl Monarch DELTA. Also looks right from what I can see of the Label, from your scan. However; So I'm NOT 100% SURE Thing is there are that many different Variations with each Mirwood release. I have just bought this one. The Styrene press reminds me of a Ric-Tic with the T1 scratched in at 180 degrees to the Matrix. plus "66-2000-A" According to Manships 3rd Edition it is Valued at £25, not sure of Todays Value.
  9. Yes, and I don't know why. If Kiki Dee could record for Motown, Helen Shapiro could have "Beat Her To The Punch" SO TO SPEAK. She covered a couple of Motown tunes, Given the right circumstances, she could easily have Covered/recorded many more Soulful Tunes with her Voice. She appears to have been overlooked, where others progessed to greater things.
  10. Her Voice was wasted at the Time, Not saying she wasn't successful, (didn't she once have The Beatles as supporting act in the early days). The Fab Four, Mersey Beat probably came just at the wrong time and stalled her career, shame. Just feel that with the right records she could have had a much better & bigger Impact late sixties. Similar to the likes of Dusty Springfield, Tom Jones etc.
  11. Would love to see these Live. Little Anthony & The Imperials - Goin' Out Of My Head
  12. Little Anthony & The Imperials - Goin' Out Of My Head ">
  13. Graham Bonney - Super Girl ">
  14. Fred Hughes - Oo Wee Baby, I Love You
  15. Christmas Time 2007 Records posted from the States 24-12-07 Arrived 31-12-07 Amazing, considering the time of year, but about right any other time. Christmas Time 2006/2007 Records posted from the States 12-12-06 Arrived 20-02-07 (Postmarked 12-12-06) Both times the same seller, and Definitely NOT their fault The records were assumed to be lost, I have always trusted the seller and from first contact the money was refunded. At no time did I ever think that the seller had not sent them. I looked towards the post/customs, or one of those things. This thought process proved to be right, when they finally arrived (Postmarked 12-12-06), I re-paid the monies in full. Mutual trust. Couldn't fault the seller, I have bought from them for years now, problem was completely out of their hands. Where those records had been from 12-12-06 to 20-02-07 is anyones guess, they didn't appear to have any Customs activity and were clearly addressed. This is were ebays period of dispute doesn't help, hence the refund and re-pay in my case.
  16. Here's another recent post regarding this record from >>> November 2007 <<<
  17. PAID £30 for my copy last year, a bargain that at £11. Pleased for you Mate. Like you say It's a great tune.
  18. Chuck Jackson - Since You've Been Gone (color clip)
  19. There's quite a few clips of her on You Tube >>> LINK <<< She used to be an Ikette, featured on this Classic Ike & Tina Turner Track According to this clip, Called Pat Arnold later to be known as P P Arnold.
  20. Thanks Matt Incredible Information, I think that we've now covered just about everything about the release. All in a couple of hours or so, Amazing. Just what this forum is about.
  21. Now it makes sense. Thanks Once again Sebastian.
  22. Hi Ken Yes, you're right, I'm not sure why they did that.
