  1. Yes it did. I didn't see the post in The Sharp End Section or this one mate until now as I work nights.
  2. Another Ouch! Wow Just about to go to work but noticed this. Pleased for you Mate, another amazing find.
  3. Hi Miff Here is a Thread from a while ago JULY 2006 >>> LINK <<< There are different Pressing Plants Involved with the Original Release. Some are Styrene, Some are Vinyl. One of the scans looks to be the same as your copy. I have copied the scan from that thread below. Both of these are STYRENE
  4. Haven't got it, Amazing Record one of my favourites. On my Wants list too when funds allow.
  5. Gotta be, surely.
  6. Hi Gary I know that you would like an accurate value, but Kens "Lots" was my Immediate thought. Where do you start, Picture Cover too. Amazing, first time I've seen it.
  7. Thanks for posting this. It all helps to Identify one from the other.
  8. Looks Amazing Pete.
  9. Here's some of the Labels. Certainly moved around.
  10. Hi Dave It certainly does look nice, I still remember the first time I heard Part II Thought it was an Instrumental, then the Vocal came in, the hairs at the back of my neck etc A beautiful record in many ways. Absolutely brilliant, still gets me right there.
  11. I have the Vee-Jay copies. Extremely desirable, especially on WEE, That WEE 106 copy is mega rare, I reckon, with the WEE 714 not too far behind. Even with the Cash, the record could still remain elusive on WEE, probably more chance of a Vee-Jay copy.
  12. Thanks Mate, I found it so Interesting to watch how the Dancers react to the Music, Which Obviously at the time was new to them. I think that the clip featuring "The Horse" - Cliff Nobles shows them really getting into the music, and copying the dance style of others, almost INSTANT. Where as the other two clips they appear a little lost, until they get into the song and loosen up. Still takes me back to my youth, as I can't dance, it doesn't stop me appreciating the Music though.

Hi John Here is the First Press, I bought it from Soul Bowl Mentioned as Rarer Thick/Heavy Vinyl copy in the Listing back then too. Considering the amount of Rare stuff on the Soul Bowl lists back then, It must have been considered Quite rare at the time, back in the 70's.
  14. Repeated tonight 08-03-08 @23:00 on B.B.C.4 followed by Standing In The Shadows Of Motown. I missed it last night, but did catch The Temptations on Jonathan Ross. Definitely watching B.B.C. 4 Tonight, even has Soul Deep on @20:30
  15. I found about half a dozen copies in the 70's, sold a couple on ebay cheap, I still have some of copies left. Strange world sometimes, a nice record both sides. Seen a lot worse sell quite easily for a lot more.

I know what you are saying, however; underlines the reason why they should help when things obviously go wrong.

Hi David What a sorry mess, shouldn't have happened in the first place. Really pleased that you've eventually received the refund. Shame that you have had to go to so much trouble to get it. RE: "Phoenix rising from the ashes " Ebay really should do more to help regarding this type of issue, can't be good for their Image, no room for head in the sand.
  18. Unfortunately I haven't, either on Track or Mojo. Incidently, the Track Label started life as a White Label with Black writing, I have a copy of Purple Haze with this Label Variation. Only the Initial batch I believe were white. As I haven't my copy to hand at the moment, here it is on PopSike PopSike.com I'm not sure if any other Track Stock Copies were anything other than Black Label. Mojo obviously similar Black Label/White Writing.
  19. PURELY OUT OF INTEREST THIS IMAGE HAS BEEN CHANGED using XnView --I made a Negative Image of a Stock Copy, could have been a nice White DEMO, Red A ? This White DEMO doesn't exist.
  20. Me too, nearest thing to a DEMO for Mojo, ust the Stock Copy with a Date Sticker. Bought at the time from Rotherham Market, if I remember correctly. I think that I have about four, but NOT Al Kent. If this is the only Type of DEMO, then the Stock Copy would be there I suppose. Just wondering if there is a chance that a Plastic Label Variation DEMO exists for some of these. Similar to this one, but obviously the Mojo Label.
  21. Hi Dave I haven't seen that one before, with the "Nashville Matrix" Does it have any 2 digit Number beyond the "Nashville Matrix" Stamp.
  22. Hi Dave Always the case, once you assume that it doesn't exist, one turns up. All adds to the fun of collecting

This was my take on this earlier in the year, I believe that it will be a Virtual One off recording. Along with other tracks, possibly still out there from the show.
  24. Hi Dave I'm pleased that you have reminded me of this. Is the other "LITTLE TOGETHERNESS" Stock Copy (West Coast) Credited to The Younghearts. A while ago there was a copy of this on Manships Auction but with The Tempos credited. This has got to be It's rarest format. >>> LINK <<< John does get some wonderful records, how many will own this little beauty. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------ Soulful Kinda Music Canterbury 506 - A Little Togetherness / Beginning Of The End - 1967 Soultown 10 - Young Hearts Get Lonely Too / A Little Togetherness - 1970 Zea 50004 - When You Wish Upon A Star / A Little Togetherness - 1971
