  1. I definitely haven't seen a DEMO
  2. I do try to keep all of my records in the condition that I bought them. I keep them in similar Poly Lined Sleeves. Yet some stay crisp & white. Where as others show signs of Foxing This one is a very similar press to the Saxie Russell, but glue or something has started to discolour the label on the DEMO. That Bill Harris ain't easy on a DEMO, I have only just found a copy. The same can be said about >>> Candi Staton - Young Hearts Run Free - Warner Bros DEMO <<<
  3. Wonderful Poster that is Mate. Yes, a Tardis would be useful.
  4. The Other Side of Barbara Acklin depends on which Brunswick DEMO release you find. Also on the Rarer TOMAS
  5. A thread from a long while ago, however, as thought 2 runs at the pressing Plant. Both Incredibly Rare. One has just the Titles, the other has the Titles and number scratched in the Deadwax. >>> LINK <<<
  6. Definitely $15 well spent, That low ZTSC Number (Only 5 Digits) ZTSC 84912 (The Date of Issue 1962) >>> LINK <<<. 4804 Correct for release. Initially I wasn't sure why #2029 as well. But of course they all had more than one number on the Label. I couldn't recall seeing a ZTSC Press for this label before. Never mind a Nice White DEMO. I know that it is a Chicago Label & ZTSC is the Chicago Matrix Stamp, However, should have realised the date. Here's the Stock Copy on ebay, early design, early number Including that ZTSC Beautiful DEMO, take a lot of searching to find another, I would suggest. Nice find that one Mate. I certainly haven't seen one before.
  7. I have a copy of Laura Lee - To Win Your Heart - Ric-Tic RT-111 - White DEMO - Bought from Soul Bowl. It too has a Glossy finish to the Label. I suppose with Large Labels such as Golden World & Ric-Tic that this is bound to happen. Certain runs at the pressing plant, Supplier problems or just trying a different type of paper. Both labels do have their enigmas such as the Missing White DEMO's on certain releases. Plus why are some so easy to find and others virtually non existent. DEMO v's Stock Copy. All adds to the FUN When Collecting.
  8. Vocal & Instrumental (BRILLIANT) As it happens, Yes. I did Indeed. Incidentely, In that very shop I held in my hands a copy of The Volcanos - (It's Against) The Rules Of Love and I don't recall it being the DEMO. Had it been a DEMO I would have bought it, I just remember the title as I changed it for a correctly Titled copy. Doh! (Haunted me ever since) Thought they were Boots at the time & not everything they sold were Boots. For Instance they had some Via Bradford Market I believe. I didn't know any different, Total lack of knowledge, leaves me wondering if a Stock Copy actually does exist. It was in one of those record sized boxes that Mary had behind the counter, I remember a few different shades of Arctic in the Box - All were meant to be "Laws Of Love". Wish I had a Time Machine, I keep thinking, someone must have bought that copy I handed back about 35 Years ago.
  9. I have the Keymen, The Jay Boy & The Mirwood Copies. As you say, the Mirwood Label is an attractive Logo & it is possibly, the only way to own the Instrumental. Regarding the Story behind this release and others like it, I don't quite know if we will ever achieve a definitive answer. Could be a thread in it's own right >>> LINK <<< SIMILAR TO THIS ONE . I quite like the Instrumental, always have.
  10. No problem Mate. As you say the Information possibly Non-Existent. There are some on Popsike.com (STEREO & MONO), but I'm guessing that they are totally different labels etc.
  11. Yes, Bootiful Indeed. As you can see, I originally put the Instrumental as the B Side. I have since Edited my post as I'd forgotten that it came out when The Instrumental was in Vogue. The Vocal actually relegated to the B Side on these "Mirwood" copies.
  12. Hi As Sean quite rightly states, It was never Originally released on Mirwood. KEYMEN - (ORIGINAL LABEL) Released in the U.K. on Jay Boy in the 70's. There were copies using the Mirwood Logo, (Let's just say "Available in the 70's" - Long and Complicated Story) With the Instrumental as the A Side >>> LINK <<<
  13. Just thought that I would bring this to the Top. I have tried to find out, apart from the Information on >>> Anorak's Corner <<< I can't find much about the period of use, for such a well known "Matrix Stamp". There is a Suggestion on this >>> LINK <<< (Post #12 & #15) That it came to an end 1975/76
  14. Never BOOTED as far as I am aware. You do get Variations to the Label Shade accross the Label & Slight Credit Differences on some as is the case with "Hey" GW-21 but they're Originals. There is a White DEMO for each of the "Hey" GW-21 Label Variations for Instance. This is one of the Labels featured on Hitsville >>> Golden World <<<
  15. That is where it can get a little confusing, these are the British releases first time around. Here is a copy of The Newbeats - Run Baby Run, not suggesting that it's as rare, just that a lot of titles did gain release over here, albeit in very small quantity at times. Hickory also had a Pink & a Coloured Variation of the Label as Mentioned by Dave Pinch. I have a copy of The Newbeats - Bread & Butter on the coloured, and have seen many on the Pink Label. Be nice to see the other Variations for Barbara Mills
  16. I seem to remember someone playing the London Stock Copy of "My Terms" way back in the 70's when I played the records at The Drum. I still haven't seen another Stock Copy since, However, I bought this DEMO from a Mate, at The Earl Of Doncaster about 10 Years Ago.
  17. There's one on "The Sharp End Of Vinyl" Submitted by Sebastian >>> LINK <<< It is on the White Hickory Label. Submitted by Sebastian If you read on, Dave Pinch has seen it on the other Variations.
  18. Hi Malc Yes, I thought it was played at The Torch, thanks for confirming & thanks for the Info. Regarding the L.P., It looks like it was re-titled due to the success of "Judy In Disguise". RE: "Judy in Disguise", a parody of The Beatles song "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" The front of the Album changed, & you can see the "Lucy In The Sky" link in the Artwork, Number and Back remained the same "Agnes English".
  19. Essentially the same LP. Also have it by Offenbach.
  20. Thanks Pete. I was trying to track the number to see if it even came close to the Transition between Label Design from Black to Blue.
  21. Wow!!!!! Indeed. A scan Anyone? Never seen it.
  22. Hi Ken Nice Track that is.
  23. Hi I'm not too sure of Today's price. In Manships 3rd Edition The Kindly Shepherds is Valued at £150 There is of course a 4th Edition One on Popsike.com >>> HERE <<< Or click on the Label It is a DEMO There are a few Tiny Topsy here on PopSike.com >>> LINK <<< Including these two. Click on the Labels & it takes you to the site with price achieved on ebay, Date sold etc Hope that this White DEMO is an Original considering the price that it made.
  24. Hi Jim This is one of the labels that we are trying to complete using Label Scans at Hitsville >>> LINK <<< I hope that it helps.
  25. That is just one og the things that is so Special about our Scene, Interpretation of a good tune converted to Dance. As you quite rightly state it's not all about the acrobatics. The best dancers are those that are at one with the music, acrobatic or otherwise.
