  1. Higher & Higher - Jackie Wilson - on a U.S.A. Brunswick DEMO is quite hard to find for some reason.
  2. Brilliant Mate, so pleased that you found a copy. Definitely ain't easy to find one at the moment.
  3. Here is the Original DEMO & Stock Copy. I will post Matrix Info later today. Also on the Rarer TOMAS
  4. 5. Yes, does turn up on ebay. I recently bought my copy for £24 a Stock Copy Seen a few over the last few months, DEMO & Stock Copy. Hope you find a copy mate, a nice record & favourite of mine, I can't believe I didn't buy a copy sooner. Too many on my wants list I suppose.
  6. I think that it was the Stevie Wonder 12 Year Old Genius thing. Carl Carlton "The 12 Year Old Wonder" etc
  7. Yes, Definitely harder on a Stock Copy. I bought these from Soul Bowl, However I can't remember seeing a DEMO for THE FATMAN / WORKING AT THE GO GO They do have different release numbers, so did they produce a DEMO for St Lawrence 1011. ANYONE seen one
  8. Never seen it on ARGO, even as a Re-Issue. Guessing it's recent? The other two look like my copies, the scans that I posted on >>> Sharp End <<< It would be good to see a scan of the DEMO.
  9. Always Interested with projects such as this. As always I will assist with scans from my collection. I don't have many on Brunswick but I will scan the ones that I have. We are curently attempting to complete a few Labels at Hitsville >>> LINK <<<, It is ongoing and is coming along at a steady pace. A worthwhile project in my opinion, Sound Clips and Information a Bonus. We have almost completed quite a few already, and I have posted many from my collection, as have others. Acknowledgement is always given to provider of the scan.
  10. Thanks Mate, Information such as this is priceless. I'm certain we will find out who Chuck Wood really is. Hi Dave Just wondering if this was broadcast during one of Kevs Radio Shows. I did tape a few of his shows I'll have to have a listen to them again.
  11. Yes I believe that there is. Unfortunately I haven't a scan at the moment, I will try to find one.
  12. Definitely looks Original (1st press) to me, Same Deadwax as my copy from Soul Bowl i.e.(Only the title scratched in). I will take a Photo of my copy tomorrow.
  13. Thanks Mate, I've just spun it around. Thanks for Posting it.
  14. I hope it is there. Just to know that there has been a positive sighting is excellent information. So many elusive records out there, makes you wonder just how many would be viable to be made as a batch. Unless many copies made then majority destroyed / recycled.
  15. Hi Mick I don't recall EVER seeing a Stock Copy for COLUMBIA 4-44004. I would love to see the Red Stock Copy or discover the reason why it isn't there. When my copy arrived from Soul Bowl in the 70's it came with the most Packaging I ever had for any other record from there. So at the time it must have been hard to find / replace. The only copies on PopSike.com are DEMOs, I believe that there is also a White & Black DEMO. Two DEMO's & no Stock Copy ?. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was Involved in a Similar thread regarding "Looking At Tomorrow", very similar story with 2 DEMOs & Elusive Stock copy. Then, once we had assumed that it didn't exist, one turned up on PopSike this year.
  16. Yes, and the other side of this cover was a Topic of a thread recently. (An attempt to Identify the people in the Photograph) click on the Cover to LINK to recent thread
  17. That would be brilliant Mate, look forward to Information. Surprised that BIG T "Seven Days Too Long" isn't easy to sell Pete, we were ALL looking for records like this when I first started collecting. Must be a Nostalgia thing for me, as I quite like Label. It would be Interesting to reflect on just how many 60's records had actually been Discovered during the 60's. Mainly Via UK Labels. In comparision to today, only a small percentage of those 60's gems, that we now consider well known.
  18. Hi I'm not sure on current price, However it did have a couple of runs at the Pressing Plant on BIG T. Think it's probably similar Value though. NOT a Mega-Rarity, but Still Very Desirable on BIG T in my opinion, first label I owned it on. Really takes me back to the days before Imports became widespread in UK. The Record Collector 2008 has the BIG T Copy at £25, Mojo at £10 Pye Disco Demand £15 with Picture cover, £10 without. An awesome record. Issued a few times on Various Labels UK Including this one on Mojo, which kept to the same A & B Side to the BIG T copy & U.S.A. Roulette. I have the PYE Copy somewhere, Picture cover etc. Which brings me to a recent thread about FOOTSIE on a Pale Blue PYE Label. Irish Label "Seven Days Too Long" on the flip side. Scan Courtesy of Dawnie Click on Label for thread. Unusual Item, I haven't seen one before.
  19. One Reason Why History will repeat itself, one day. Records like this will never die. Unfortunately I don't own this, but what a record. Someone a lot younger than me will hear this for the first time and Wow! This Scene will continue beyond my years, I'm positive.
  20. Top Sound, Hope you find a copy Mate.
  21. Can't Wait Either Brilliant Quality Publication.
  22. The Blue HBR is the Stock Copy. The Four Sharps on Cameo can be found for a few dollars on ebay, but not that often. I have seen a Red/Black Coloured Cameo DEMO.
  23. Trouble is; I think that ebay has tried to address the problem with Rogue Sellers. Completely forgetting in the process that Rogue buyers also exist. ebay should reconsider their rules, feedback etc. If not Could be all downhill from here in this "No Win No Fee" culture that we now live in. Shame. Hope that you get it sorted Mate, a worrying time for sellers on ebay at the moment.
  24. As mentioned above it is the "H" Stamped copy that is the one to be careful with. We now have an Example of an Original "H" Stamped DEMO. Scan Courtesy of Alan (GIVEMESOUL) For Further Information Regarding the "H" Stamped Click On This Label Below This one is an Example of an Original "H" Stamped copy. The colours and credit layout is different to the Counterfeit Copy, also "H" Stamped.
  25. Yes, looks 100% correct to me due to the colour etc. I didn't have a copy of this ("Original With the "H" Stamp") available to scan for Sharp End. It is the "H" Stamped DEMO that was counterfeited but the colour isn't quite right as can be seen from this scan compared to your Original Above. (The Star is in a Different Position too, Just Noticed) Thanks for Posting it.
