  1. Here it is on the >>> Pete Fowler : Hitsville Record Review from July 2006 <<< & it's a DEMO
  2. Hi Andy Yes, Australian only as a 45, as far as I know.
  3. Thanks Gene. Amazing that we have at least 3 Different Variations, Quite Rare as a Stock Copy as it is. Many Thanks for Posting them.
  4. This one a Re-Issue from late 60's / Early 70's. Once again, I sold this a couple of years back.
  5. Sold my copies a couple of years back. -This One re-issue from the late 60's / Early 70's as well as the Green Label
  6. I was thinking West Coast Press. Difficult to tell from a scan, but looks like one. Here is an earlier thread regarding Sandra Phillips on the >>> BROADWAY LABEL <<<
  7. Yes, the Layout of the Credits, also different.
  8. Hello Gene I've just arrived home from a Night Shift & saw this. I'm not sure If this is what you mean. The Love Makes A Woman had been out as a DEMO on an earlier number. Took me a while to find one. If you need any scans of the Brunswick Label at a Higher Resolution let me know. I don't have many, but will scan them if needed. This one from PopSike.com
  9. Beautiful Label, Excellent Record. Now another to collect one day.
  10. Nice, Not many of those about. I collect mainly U.S.A. stuff now, Still love the U.K. Labels though. This is the Rarest I have on Warner Brothers.
  11. Agree, Brilliant Seller.
  12. Yes, Here's a Canadian Brunswick. 55353 Very Similar at first glance.
  13. Recently Acquired this DEMO without the AMY Mala Bell Distribution. (Blue Label from PopSike.com) -- Knew about the two DEMO's & added them to the collection over the years Often wondered if there is yet another DEMO with Title spread over two lines. --
  14. Yes, I'd agree with that. I have seen from time to time, St Lawrence Labels with a FLAT EDGE Left of Label Almost like the Label Cutter had drifted over the edge of the Paper. Guessing that Quality Control didn't reject small printing flaws, just used them anyway. Realize that the thread's a slightly "Tongue-In-cheek", however, Answered Anyway.
  15. Here you are, featured in >>> The Sharp End <<< along with the >>> LINK <<< to the previous thread with Manships Post and other views on the record.
  16. Thanks Sebastian This is the reason I believe CHARAY 89 - Men From Macon - Soul Of A Man / Salvation May exist, as stated in the Bobby Skel article. Salvation Rita Lee Charay # 101 Robert Thomas Charay #87 Cresa Watson [AKA Carolyn Sullivan?] Charay #90 Men From Macon [AKA Bobby Skel & The Red Ryders] Charay #89 Never seen one though. Possibly where the later Re-Issue came from.
  17. Hi Adam I tried to find out about a couple of releases as I had just bought a copy of C-89-A THE MEN FROM MACON When it arrived it was Vocal / Instrumental. This article suggests that there is a Salvation side too for C-89, unless I have read it wrong. >>> BOBBY SKEL <<< Certainly a strange Numbering System
  18. Yes, I've bought a few from him in the past. Nothing as expensive as these but, no problems.
  19. also had "Johnny On The Spot" for sale on a couple of occasions. Plus a few others >>> Al Williams nothern soul 45 rare ORIG I Am Nothing M- <<< >>> Imaginations northern soul 45 Strange Neighborhood <<<
  20. Just found it 981 on Sky.
  21. Agreed, The BOOM Label is an attractive Label. I love to collect all variations of a Label. It's always fascinated me regarding the White DEMO. In a Radio Station scenario surely a White DEMO format would be lost within a sea of other White DEMO's. It would then be the Multi-coloured Labels / DEMO's that would stand out as .... "PLEASE PLAY THIS RECORD" Just wondering how much thought process went into this at the time.
  22. A Minefield this collecting game, I'm pleased that it was good news on this occasion. I still enjoy listening to the Ric-Tic stuff, an amazing Label.
  23. The KAREN Label different Pressing Plant / Design, Original 60's Press Why the different design, I'm not 100% sure. Could be a different time or Batch., but I believe just regional pressing plant Variation. West Coast, etc. The CARLA Label also has different Designs depending on Pressing Plant.
  24. Hi Steve This is the 70's Re-Issue.
  25. Originals, showing the DEMO and Stock. Missing the West Coast Stock Copy.
