  1. The Original is on Vinyl matrix stamped Delta 70422-X Has Black Writing on a Lighter Shade of Blue Label. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The second Issue is on Styrene Monarch Delta 100117-X Has Silver Writing on a Darker Shade of Blue Label. The Colour is a different shade, Both have a Matrix Stamp as the Second one is also a Monarch Press. I hope that this helps There is also the Infinitely rarer AGC 2 "I Gotta Be Free" / "Don't It Make You Feel Funky" I believe that only a couple of copies are known to exist.
  2. Regarding Info If you click on the LINK to a previous thread, there are a couple of scans >>> GOLDEN WORLD SCANS <<<
  3. ORIGINAL ----------------------------* BOOT * Here's the BOOT ("speeded up") ----------------------------* BOOT *
  4. Many Thanks Harry for the Update..
  5. Here's one of the DEMO's The reason I say one of the DEMO's, some have the Star on the "That Driving Beat" side. >>> THE SHARP END OF VINYL <<< If you want a Scan of the full record, let me know.
  6. Very Sad News. R.I.P. One of my favorite Singers Dee Dee Warwick - Monday Monday ">
  7. Four Tops - ASK THE LONELY - Shivaree -
  8. A Sad Day. R.I.P. LEVI STUBBS FOUR TOPS LEGEND
  9. Chris I will try to help further, however to my knowledge the copy I have isn't an Original. Having said that I will dig it out and check exactly which copy it is. I tend to play the Googa-Mooga Copy, my Ashford copy is amongst known BOOTs & Counterfeits in a Record Box. Considering the source of my copy I would be Shocked if it was Original. As you know, If I had an Original I would have provided the relevant scans.
  10. Quite a lot written regarding ARCHER STAMP etc, follow this >>> LINK - SHARP END OF VINYL <<< If you look at the Post by "dunc" it mentions this Matrix Mark and Manships comments.
  11. Here is a >>> Previous Thread from back in MARCH <<< relating to this TEDDY VANN backing track.
  12. Like this The Original Johnny Bragg on Elbejay has this mark in the Deadwax. Not sure about Eddie Parker, mmm Interesting.
  13. I'll tell you what Steve, when I was a Apprentice Fitter at the Local Plant Railway Works in Doncaster. They tried every trick in the book. We were sent looking all kinds of things. Happy Days, harmless fun. One I remember was go get the Long Weight from the Stores. Of course they were in on it, "I'll go get it for you son" Turns out to be a Long Wait. (Also known as The Long Stand)
  14. Yes Steve I may be wrong, I am of the Opinion that "No Writing" may mean no autograph. I was hoping for a Lottery win last night, might have tried for a Single Sided copy. As you say "life's too short", everything appeared possible back in the day. Now many years later it is apparent just how rare some of these records are, still fun trying to find them though.
  15. Thanks Steve. Completing the Ric-Tic Label DEMO & Stock copy even more Impossible than I ever Imagined. A lot of collectors have tried though, Including me in my youth. It's a fantastic Label to collect, even though I may never complete, holds a Special Place in the collection.
  16. If only 50 were made, you have a copy, John Manship has. Could be that the other sightings are the same records at different times so possibly 4. 2 Definite Owners at present for the Single Sided DEMO I would consider it remarkable if any more turn up.
  17. No Problem Carl. This is the place to discuss all things relating to Original Records. We regularly piece things together on here, Sharing Knowledge is what this forum is about. I didn't know for sure that 2 DEMO's existed for this title until confirmed Yesterday.
  18. Oh I see, I'm not familiar with Velvet Underground stuff.
  19. Thanks for the Information BOB. Could be it's Intended use then a Jukebox It's been one of those mystery records picked up along the way, nothing to do with Soul Music I know. Thanks to all replies. Only pence from a Junk Shop, bit of a fun thing but possibly played more than you would Imagine. Just for a bit of Peace & Quiet in an otherwise noisy environment.
  20. Found reference to that track here >>> JOHN CAGE <<<
  21. Well I have tried searching the Internet to find out. The Juke Box Story I am sure that I have read somewhere. It must have a use or why make it in the first place. The Juke Box story appears plausible.
  22. Well nobody will have heard it anyway. As it is completely silent. BOTH SIDES THE SAME - LABEL TOO. I found this in a Junk Shop Many, Many Years ago. (1970's if I remember correctly) I believe that it was used in Juke Boxes for anyone to buy exactly what it says on the label. THREE MINUTES SILENCE It was apparently an option for use on a Juke Box where someone could purchase a play or two. Makes sense in a noisy Pub I suppose. as when this is playing the customer gets exactly that, but at a cost. The reason I have some doubt about this is that it doesn't have a large center, as found on Ex Juke Box records. Anyone know any different, can't think of any other reason for this strange record.
  23. Hello Rod That "AGENT OO-SOUL" -.(AGENT DOUBLE-O-SOUL)- Single Sided White DEMO is one of the hardest Ric-Tic DEMO's to find. Here is a >>> LINK to our quest at Hitsville for the Ric-Tic Label Scans <<< We have a scan now, but it took a long while to get one. It has the full title, as has this Stock Copy, and also the Canadian Reo Label
  24. Thanks John Never thought that this question would or could be answered. The confirmation of existence and Information relating to this record is Invaluable to collectors. If anyone has the good fortune to find a copy and has the funds to buy it they now know what to look for (Deadwax etc). Once again Many Thanks. How often have we all been looking for something that simply doesn't exist, (The Hardest Thing To Find) So pleased that we now know that this one does.
