  1. Many Thanks for this Information. I love to find things out beyond the Music we enjoy. Looking forward to Interview,.
  2. Thanks to ALL replies. I'll get searching around the Internet.
  3. A few more on this thread >>> LINK - May 2007 <<< It pays to check as there are a few different Label Variations. The * BOOTS * also Mentioned.
  4. I've just tidied up an mp3 which was from Originally sourced from Vinyl with Scratches, Pops & Clicks, etc & IT WORKED Got me thinking, are there any REAL TIME filters Available for Vinyl. Record Deck to AMP, that remove Scratches, Pops & Clicks, Hiss etc
  5. Very Sad News Indeed R.I.P. Mike Terry Another Legend Gone.
  6. Thanks for these scans Richard. The RAREST Format.
  7. Sorry, my tired eyes just got up (Work Nights). Yes and Sherman Nesberry (writing credits) missed that. Just wondering looking at the two records. Produced & Arranged by Jim Porter. Arrangers George Williams and Jim Porter. Thinking now on the lines of actually being there during recording. Would this still be the only connection between the two. Jim Porter taking his (joint composition) to another group.
  8. Thanks for asking this Question, been wondering the same. I was going to ask, but couldn't find my copy of Velvet to the check credits / date. Notice the writing partners are different Jim Porter being the constant.
  9. Hi Pete Same Idea as I use via Photobucket . Right Click on the Image and go to Properties, Image Location. For your Website <img src="https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3138/2981355749_385988d0e8_m.jpg"> Ideal for adding ebay Images in Sales, simply add this into the HTML Editor. Or as I used for the scan below [img=https://farm4.static.flickr.com/3138/2981355749_385988d0e8_m.jpg] ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am slowly adding scans from my collection to Photobucket.
  10. Don't think I've seen one.
  11. No Problem. I used to think that the "Mend the broken pieces" variation was the Rarer. Not so sure anymore, ("Mend The Broken Pieces" or "Mend The Torn Pieces") neither copy is that easy to find & especially the DEMO.
  12. Yes, that seems to be the "Broken Pieces" flip too for Junior 1010. Don't know if it was simply a Pressing Plant Variation (Font Size Difference). or re-promotion with Yvonne Baker as the Lead. If so Strange that they got the B Side Wrong. The Font on 1010 & 1071 Identical At the Very Least a different Pressing Plant / Design. Could it be different times of Issue / Promotion for the 1010 ?
  13. Quite Rare I would have thought, Never seen one before. Always difficult when not U.S.A. or U.K. though as it's not everyone that collects them.
  14. One >>> HERE on PopSike.com <<<
  15. As I say I don't have a current Value. Prices do change over time & not always up. This may give you an Idea as to Rarity between them. In Manships 3rd Edition & bearing in mind there is now a 5th Edition. Doesn't specify "Torn Pieces" or "Broken Pieces" Junior 1010 £150 Demo £75 Stock Copy Junior 1071 £30 A few on >>> PopSike.com <<<
  16. Not certain of current Value for the 1010 DEMO Does it have "Broken Pieces" OR "Torn Pieces" as the flip.
  17. Agree with all named here, However: too expensive no doubt, but would love to see these. Little Anthony and The Imperials- Goin' Out Of My Head Little Anthony and The Imperials-Hurts So Bad
  18. Hi Tony As I said earlier in the Thread the Stock Copy has gotta be rarer, & Extremely nice to own. Thanks for posting them. That White DEMO Label looks Mint as well.
  19. Very Nice that is Mate. The Extremely RARE West Coast DEMO. I think that it is from the same sales list that I've seen it on and the very same copy as Posted here. >>> LINK - (MAY 2006) <<<
  20. This is a Scan of my Stock Copy, is this the one you mention above.
  21. Hi Julian The Intriguing thing about this copy is the "Please don't talk about me when I'm gone" side. I haven't had or seen a White DEMO Boot of this, which is supposed, I am told to have "THE NEXT IN LINE" both sides. I can only state as before I haven't seen a LAURIE White DEMO of any title. This collecting game does hold many surprises though. I believe that I have somewhere a HOAGY LANDS Stock Copy with Scratched in Matrix Not sure of details other than that, I'll search it out and scan the Matrix.
  22. Hi Malc I have checked through some of my Laurie DEMO's, ALL have a STAMPED Matrix & are on Vinyl. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There is a Very RARE West Coast DEMO with DELTA # HOAGY LANDS Just as there is with DEAN PARRISH both Extremely RARE. If you follow this >>> LINK - (MAY 2006) <<< THERE IS A SCAN First time I had ever seen one. Hi Dave Never seen a LAURIE White DEMO of Any Title. As far as I'm Aware HOAGY LANDS on a White DEMO is a BOOT as already mentioned.
  23. Hi Steve Many Thanks for the Information. My copy has BEE 223A in the Run out, Narrow run in, therefore a BOOT. I had a feeling it might be, but as I stated earlier the shop that it came from did have a high percentage of Originals. Always helps when you know what to look for, Thanks Again.
  24. I would love to be able to help, However I'm not too sure with my copy either. I am assuming that my copy is counterfeit as I cannot 100% be sure, therefore erring on the side of caution. It is one of the hardest to tell. I have looked at the Link below, I have been told to look out for a flat edge or bevel edge, Not sure if the bevel relates to the Label edge or Vinyl edge. >>> Recently Discussed HERE - The Guides <<< As John points out, he has discovered 2 Counterfeit / Boot copies.
