  1. Hi I have been Listening to this Radio Show the last few Weeks. 2 Hrs of Soul / R & B Just about to start on the web. https://www.kzum.org/ I listen Via VLC Media Player https://www.videolan.org/vlc/ Using this as the Network Stream https://www.kzum.org/listen.m3u A little bit tricky to set up, easier to use now I've used it a few times.
  2. Hi Had a Look at the Scan that you have posted. I have tried to see if there is a Matrix Stamp Opposite the Number in the Dead Wax. "R" The Original should have this. Regards Roger
  3. Nice One That Is Mate. Not Easy On Canadian Label. Here's Another Variation I Have A Scan Of. (EAST COAST) "LET'S FREDDIE" Wonder if a DEMO for this exists too.
  4. A couple of recent Threads. >>> LINK <<< October 2008 >>> LINK <<< The Guides with brief Description ( > John Manship < ) of Gwen & Ray
  5. Thanks It's just that every Stock Copy on ebay has been a Pale Blue Label in recent years apart from this one. Happens to us all with certain records I suppose, some never see a copy, others have seen a Box Full. Right Place, Right Time etc. Thanks for the replies wondering if there is a DEMO for this Variation. I will try for a Light Blue copy eventually. Too many on the Wants List as usual. Not Enough Funds.
  6. Hi Dante Nice to hear from you again, Thanks for the Information regarding the Pat Lewis.
  7. I have been trying to find out if this is a Rare Label Variation. Could be that I haven't been looking in the right places but can't remember seeing another nor can I find any info.
  8. I have been trying to remember the prices I paid, more like $40 than $400.
  9. Bought these two last year. Nothing like $400. Normally see the Light Blue Label Stock Copies on Sale, I'm waiting to find one at the right price.
  10. Yes, Unfortunately they are. As I said earlier, always worth checking. Original Records have turned up in the past, wrongly assumed to be a Boot. There was an Original copy of The Sweets on Soul Town turned up on ebay the last year. >>> LINK <<<
  11. Looking at the Labels on the List there are Obvious Re-Issues etc. The problem with Jimmy Raye is that you need to see the record to tell. The Jimmy Raye record has an Extremely good Counterfeit. However slim the chance, worth checking.
  12. This One For Instance. I'm standing/Rufus Lumley /EMI label (as new) INT556 Extremely Difficult to find as as Original on Holton or Stateside. E.M.I. A perfectly good Re-Issue. Approx, a Tenner Mint.
  13. Always worth checking, these two for Instance a good chance that they are not Original, However, you never know. Jimmie Raye/Philly dog around the world/KKC label S-002 Anne Perry/That's the way he is/ Theoda label /T-201 Some nice tunes there.
  14. Hi Paul Welcome to Soul Source. Really looking forward to your contribution.
  15. Hi Paul Welcome to Soul Source. Just been reading your Introduction. >>> LINK <<< Regarding "I STILL LOVE YOU" Intriguing, Are you saying that only Yellow Label Copies were pressed WHEN Originally Released, or have I misunderstood. Look forward to your contribution on Soul Source.
  16. Morning Harry Yes, However I think there is a Clever Counterfeit for the Stock Copy.
  17. Hi Harry I think there was a Boot of the DEMO These are Scans of the Original from PopSike.com
  18. Hope it wasn't too, never seen a Chubby Checker on this Label. Interesting that they felt it necessary to change the design from the U.S.A. Design. >>> LINK <<<
  19. Hi Pete Thanks Once Again, Another to look out for then, My quest continues. That's a mighty fine collection you have there mate, not easy to collect the same Label design for any Label but Parkway gotta be one of the hardest.
  20. Nice One, Is that with the unusual Cameo-Parkway Label Design.
  21. Hi Sean Yes, I too remember chasing the Elusive Cameo-Parkway Copy. As you correctly point out, it was a Trophy Piece at the time. I remember a friends Sister had a few Chubby Checker records (Including "Two Hearts Make One Love" Doh!) Didn't know about the Incredible B Side then. and of course "At The Discotheque" BUT THEY WERE NOT PARTING WITH THEM. At the time this was the first copy I had actually seen. It used to get played at our Youth Club and Doncaster Top Rank, still love the record 40 Years Later.
  22. Hi Pete Thanks for the Reply. Is it White or Yellow as above. This record is one of the first Non Motown records I decided to collect way back in the Youth Club days.. Managed to acquire a U.K. Cameo-Parkway Stock Copy eventually. I now collect mainly U.S.A. & still buy as and when I have funds. Noticed the different Variations for the DEMO & wondered if others exist. Also any Other Soul Releases, on a Yellow Parkway DEMO ?
  23. Anyone know if there are any other Label Variations A West Coast White DEMO Perhaps (AT THE) DISCOTHEQUE OR (DO THE) DISCOTHEQUE Possibly even a Multicoloured DEMO. Are there any other Parkway Yellow DEMOs, for other Soul releases. CHUBBY CHECKER - AT THE DISCOTHEQUE EAST COAST WEST COAST
  24. Here it is, I'll Post Sound files Later
  25. I Sold my copy of Sir Joe Quarterman last year. Definitely Original & had foxing on the spine due to age etc. Not sure if storage or glue under the Paper had caused this. Described as such, these are the pictures from the sale. I'll see if I can find the scan of the Deadwax.
