  1. Now That Does Look Nice Mate. I Bought My Copy Along With The Steinways On A Trip To Soul Bowl Back In The 70's. First Listen & I Bought Them Both, Didn't See The L.P. Just Told It Was Included In The Album As A Promotion. The First Time I Played It Out Following Purchase It Didn't Fill The Floor At All. The Steinways Struggled A Little Too As Most Liked The "My Hearts Not In It Anymore" Side. I Bought Them 'Cause I Liked Them, Still Love Them, And They Have Stood The Test Of Time.
  2. Hi Steve Definitely Worth A Listen, Mate, I Was Pleasantly Surprised At The Records Played. Fun, Live Radio Show With Requests.
  3. Many Thanks For The Info, Hope You Get Scanner Sorted Out.
  4. They Appear To Be Going All Out To Turn A Success Into A Failure Why Try To Fix Something That In The Main Ain't Broken At Every "Improvement" Things Slide Further Downhill.
  5. I Have P.M.'d You. Phil Contacted, However, Requires One With A Center Intact. Now Available @ £28 If Anyone Else Interested.
  6. Just Trying To See If There Are Anti Slip Around Circumference Of Label. Don't Think I Can, Unless Possibly Under Labels Edge. Doesn't Narrow Things Down Too Much, But Along With The 4 Pronged Push Out Center. Reminded Me Of A Jay Boy or President Label.
  7. BIG T 104 - Must Have Been Issued At Two Different Sources/Times.
  8. Here Is A Styrene DEMO, I Believe That There Are Also Copies With The Pink A On "I'm Coming To Your Rescue" Side & Much Rarer Than This One. Here Is The Re-Issue Of The Stock Copy, Again On Styrene. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In The 70's / 80'S I Remember Seeing Boxes Full Of Vinyl Okeh DEMO's With Photo Copied Labels. Poor Quality As I Remember, They Were In A Shop Near (Doncaster Market) Various Titles. (Your Scan If It Were A Photocopy Would Match My Copy) I Think That The Scan You Have Posted Looks Suspect For The Reasons You Give. Unfortunately I Haven't Seen This One Up Close but Almost Certainly A Boot. However, Caution Is Required With Such Records. Original Vinyl Copies Do Exist For Certain Titles & Are Out There Too >>> LINK <<< January 2009 Major Harris -STYRENE -STYRENE -VINYL This One Shocked Me When It Arrived And Turned Out To Be Vinyl
  9. Another I Had Like This Was A Payment From Europe. I Had To Choice To Opt / Accept Balance In Either Euros Or Sterling.
  10. >>> Selling A Few Bits <<< Various, Spares & Stuff, A Couple More To Follow.
  11. This DEMO Double A Side - Nothing On Label To Suggest DEMO Other Than White Label etc
  12. I Have Been Slowly Collecting The Audio Arts! Label Over The Years. Bought This Stock Copy A Few Weeks Back & The DEMO Arrived Yesterday Morning. (Couldn't Believe That Nobody Had Bid On It - I Noticed It After The Listing Had Finished) I Can't Find It On Any Label Discography. I Have Tried To Find Out If This May Have Been The Intended B Side As The Delta Numbers Follow. DELTA # 73868 & DELTA # 73869 >>> ANORAKS CORNER <<< Places It At October / November 1968 I Can Only Assume That It Was The Intended B Side. Anyone? I Know That Audio Arts! Did Use Sides More Than Once, Seems Strange For "All Of A Sudden" To Be On 60016 & 60017 Only A Guess But Wondering If "All Of A Sudden" Was A Last Minute Change Of B Side For 60017
  13. Hi Noticed This Yesterday Before I Went To Work. I Will Try To Find Something Out.
  14. Thanks Tony Hoping To Be There.
  15. Hi Carl Many Thanks For Posting. Gordy Is Such A Beautiful Label. Sort Of Makes Me Wonder Who Ultimately Decided To Make The Design Change, A Decision That Has Created These Rarities. Regarding The V.I.P. Label. The Basic Yellow Colour & Logo But With Subtle Differences, With Lines, Without Lines, Staggered V.I.P., Straight V.I.P., Logo At Top, Logo At Side, etc Possibly Changed More Than Any Other Motown Related Stock Copy. Until The Yellow Orange Design. Wonder If It Was Printers Artistic Licence Or A Deliberate Planned Change For Reasons Long Forgotten.
  16. Hi Steve Extremely Pleased For You Mate. I Would Rate This As One Of The Hardest To Obtain With The Gordy Script. Surprised That There Wasn't More Interest Shown In Such A Rarity.
  17. As Much As I Would Dearly Love To See Them, You Are Right Tony, Decisions Have To Be Based On Information Given. At The Moment I Am At Work Sunday Night / Monday Night etc, However, I Could Look To Booking Time Off. Just Wish A Little More Information Was Available, Such As You Have Requested, Times etc. I May Miss The Chance Regards Tickets Meanwhile, But Confused As To Why Such Questions Are Not Answered.
  18. Hi Ady Thanks, I Was Going To Reply Earlier, However, The CBS Picture Cover Only Arrived This Morning From Norway, The Latest Addition, First Time I Had Seen One & It's Mint.
  19. Just Had A Listen To My Copies, All Sound Same Take on the B Side.
  20. Hi If You Click On This Record You Will See The Various Label Variations Found So Far For Ric-Tic RT-103 The White DEMO Has The Same Title As This Yellow Label Below & The Canadian Stock Copy. These Have The "AGENT OO-SOUL (AGENT DOUBLE-O-SOUL)" So I Suspect That This Yellow Label Variation Was The First. I Have Yet To Acquire A White DEMO Which Is Extremely Hard To Find. However There Is A Scan Of This White DEMO At Hitsville This Is An Ongoing Project & Almost Complete. These Have The "AGENT DOUBLE-O-SOUL" As Time Allows I Will Tidy Things Up & Make The Scans Bigger. This Was The First Of The Labels That We Attempted, We Now Scan At 300x300 These Are Only 200 x 200 Contains Many Scans Courtesy Of Collectors Worldwide Further Information & Scans Always Welcome With This Ongoing Project. >>> Hitsville Labels <<<
  21. Hi Alan That's The Monarch DEMO To The Top Copy, Exactly The Same Deadwax. Many Thanks For Confirming Details. Looking At Anorak Records Site, If I Read The Details For The Bottom Scan Correctly The Backwards S Within A Circle Denotes "Shelley Products, Ltd", New York. Used From The End Of 1969. Now Thinking That This Is The Clue, Monarch West Coast, New York East Coast. Hence The Underlying Question, Of Other Soul Releases Like This, With The Different Coloured Label.
  22. Nice Track That Is >>> LINK <<< Just Listened To It In MEDIA SECTION
  23. Hi Alan Many Thanks for Information Regarding The DEMO. The Copy at the Top is a Monarch Delta # 78369 & Delta # 78369-X Placing It At The End Of 1969 >>> ANORAKS CORNER (Pressing Plant Details) <<< The Bottom Copy also STYRENE but Different Pressing Plant. Intrigued to know if this was released at the point of a Label Design Change or whether it is a United Artists Label Variation used for other releases and possibly regional.
  24. Hope So Mate, Nice One.
  25. Post About This Record From November 2006 >>> LINK FROM 2006 - Moses Smith Girl Across The Street, Difference between Original & Boot/reissue <<<
