  1. Yes, I Have It On Blue Stax & Red Atlantic (U.K.) That Was My First Purchase. Can't Say That I Have Heard Clydie Kings Version, Would Love To Hear It.
  2. Here is the Striped Design Scan Courtesy Of A Friend Of Mine.
  3. Yes Pete. Some of these are Overlooked, Yet Incredibly Rare. Remember Len Barry - 1,2,3. Brunswick U.K. DEMO. a year or so back on ebay. I Didn't know how high to bid, Missed it, you told me at the time how difficult it is to find on DEMO.
  4. You may be right, and I Would Agree, but I Haven't even seen any trashed copies about. Taken Me 30+ Years To Find A Bettye Swann DEMO In Any Condition. One On Manships At £100 - However, I Found One Recently On ebay by sheer chance, amongst many Stock Copies.
  5. Hi Sid Yes it was BOOTED On A White DEMO. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obviously it happens with other Labels Too Where the Stock Copy is extremely easy, the DEMO Virtually Impossible. First One I Thought Of, The Parliaments - Don't Be Sore At Me - Revilot DEMO. (Haven't A Copy In The Collection, Only Seen A Couple) Here's A Few More, Easy on a Stock Copy, Whereas The DEMO
  6. As Pete States These Two on Blue Ric-Tic are Rare. Certain Ric-Tic DEMO's are Virtually Impossible. Those Two On A DEMO Are On That List. We tried to complete the Label by Scan at Hitsville, Some are still missing. Al Kent "The Way You Been Acting Lately" Only ever seen a Couple. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It's Not The Only One Missing, But Just For The Record, Has Anyone EVER Seen A Little Ann - Going Down A One Way Street - DEMO Should Be There, But I Haven't Seen One. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  7. Many Thanks, I Was Wondering RE: Snr, Jnr. Trying to assess Dates of each release, thought both possibly Jnr, Wasn't sure.
  8. GENE REDD Influence on both records. (Red Coach - Gene Redd Jr) Same Person, Father / Son?

  11. Yes, Couldn't Remember It Exactly, That's The Story As Mentioned On A T.V. Program About Him A Few Years Ago.
  12. I Think The Story Goes That The Royalties For This Release Were Promised To Someone RE: Payment / Contractual. Hence The Total Lack Of Chart Potential & Title.
  13. Obviously All Variations Of The Same Backing.
  14. The Year Before I Started Work, I Was Still Playing Records At The Youth Club. The Fife Piper & Cu-Ma-La-Be-Stay Were Regular Plays By The Older Lads. Imports Were Just Starting To Appear Around This Time 1969 to 1970. Could Well Imagine This Rare Enough At The Time Via Mainly U.K. Copies. Soul Time Was Another Being Heavily Played & Tell Her Dean Parrish.
  15. Hi Sean "Looks verrrrry nice!" Looking forward to seeing the scans Mate. Amazing how these releases traveled the Globe. I'm starting to look even more to some of these (Just been Concentrating on Bettye Swann "Make Me Yours"& Various Releases Around The Globe)

  17. No Problem Richard. If I Remember Correctly, I Think The Red & The Yellow Labels That I Have, Were Both Found In A Soul Pack From Soul Bowl. I Only ever bought the one Soul Pack from Soul Bowl, concentrated on other parts of the list at the time. 100 for £3, Those Were The Days, but still when you consider I Started on £4, 19 Shillings & 6 pence A Week in 1970 (Apprentice Wages). First 2nd Hand Scooter at £25 Wish now I had bought more Soul Packs, as there was some nice Gems in them.
  18. Thanks Mate. I'll Check, "No More Tearstained Make-Up" Definitely Album Only
  19. Indeed there is Mate. Hoping that someone can use this to replace a worn album that still has its Cover.
  20. Thanks Benji Yes, It is the same as U.K. Design. Actually, I'm Assuming that U.K. was first to use this amalgamated Title "Cameo-Parkway" I might be wrong. Basically the CAMEO-PARKWAY Name & Using the U.S.A. Cameo Label Design. Appears that only the Dutch Labels altered the Cameo Design.

  22. West Coast "JIMMY MACK" Arrived This Morning.
  23. Now that is a Nice Record To Own. What kind of format does the Label have, Looking At The Sleeve, I'm guessing Cameo-Parkway Similar to U.K. Design.
  24. Thanks Paul. I am Looking to start on European Copies of Certain Titles when funds allow.
  25. Just bought the ABET DEMO. Noticed that my other copy has JUKE BOX Above the Number, R & B Underneath? Other Copies about without this on the Label, now wondering why they needed to specify.
