  1. It's Going The Same Way As Some Car Boots, Where Every Stall Is A Virtual Small Business As Opposed To Small One Off Private Sellers, Who Just Want To Pass There Stuff On For Cash Before They Consider The Tip. Many Rare Records Could Be Lost Forever This Way. The Seller Thinking That They're Next To Worthless, Won't Be Prepared To Try Them For A Dollar On Ebay First, Due To The Free Postage Sting In The Tail.
  2. I have tried >>> www.record-dealer.com <<< for selling in the past. I think Martin is on here >>> LINK to Welcome Page <<<
  3. B.B.C. Four - Soul From The Barbican. Madeline Bell, Eddie Floyd, Sam Moore, Gino Washington & His Ram Jam Band, Jimmy James & Eric Burden. Was On Around The Time Of Soul Brittania.
  4. Regarding The Cheaper Items Using Ebay, Now A Nightmare To List & No Doubt Will Dissappear. Plus I Suspect All The Fun Of Buying Blind etc, Sadly.
  5. I tried Recently another Auction Site, Free, Unfortunately Too Small At The Moment.
  6. They're Slowly Removing The Very Things That Made It A Success, Not By Any Means Perfect But A Success. Slippery Slope.
  7. Here's My Latest, Arrived This Morning, Brazil.
  8. First Time I've seen A DEMO Of This, Many Thanks For Posting.

  10. This is the Original Label. The Others Were Done In The 70's As Already Mentioned.
  11. Thanks Dave, Looking Forward To Information.
  12. More info here in "" >>> <<< Most copies probably came through Soul Bowl
  13. Hi Dave Intriguing. The very number on the Re Issue R-127-A, Delta # 99846 would place it in the 70s. However, the number on that side only, the other side has 218-A. Not heard of the Single Sided DEMO before. The Re Issue therefore to my way of thinking, also hints at a possible earlier but shelved release within the Renfro catalogue.
  14. Thanks Pete I didn't think that it was released in the 60's.
  15. Just Noticed the Word Original Capitol. I haven't my copy to hand at the moment, but was on this label above CL15851 = 1976, (I think first Issue in the U.K.) ------------------- & CL16067 Later
  16. Yes, In The 70's.
  17. Hi Sean Still Buzzing from last night, Agree regarding Tito & Band. We would go back to see the whole show all over again in an Instant if time allowed. Anyone who can still make this show, should. They won't be dissapointed. as Sean says
  18. Yes, Originally on Carla as an Instrumental, then just prior to Issue in the UK on Grapevine in the 70's, the Satiron Vocal copies (Official Release as far as I'm Aware) from the same source as the Grapevine. I've always thought a relatively small number of Satiron copies to gain Interest/Play. >>> LINK to Thread from MARCH 2008 <<<
  19. Hi Jez No Problem Mate, Sharing Information & Thoughts Regarding Matrix Details etc Is what this part of the Forum is all about. Any question about such, between us we always do our best to address. Regarding "The Sequins - A Case Of Love / Anthony C", As far as I'm aware, these were Re-Issued from Source, hence Same Deadwax/Plate. Unless obtained by other some other means, I can only assume Re-Issue. Not 100% Sure with "He's A Flirt", I think that the same plates may have also been used on one of them, but there's a couple of different ones out there, I haven't seen either close enough to check.
  20. Sequins - A Case Of Love (Soundclip From Refosoul Archive) Matrix Stamp BOTH Sides ORIGINAL With Delta# 60757 Re-Issue With Delta # 60757 There are others, this one was from the same plates & BOTH have Matrix Stamp & Delta # 60757 on the CASE OF LOVE - SEQUINS SIDE. Obviously have different B'Sides, the Re-Issue has the Instrumental. (Instrumental Side has Delta # 99846).
  21. Absolutely Amazing Night At Sheffield Arena, Just Arrived Home. Gladys Knight, Bubba, The Whole Show Incredible
  22. Milton Wright - Like a rolling stone - Satiron (Soundclip From Refosoul Archive) Hi Dave The Satiron copies came out & sold just prior to U.K. Grapevine release if I remember correctly.
  23. Wade Flemons - That Other Place - (Sound Clip From Refosoul Archive) Susan Maughan - That Other Place - (Sound Clip From Refosoul Archive)
  24. All the best in your quest, I bought my Stock Copy back in the 70's, Hopefully not too hard to track one down in 2009.
  25. ILA VANN - YOU MADE ME THIS WAY - PIP 8933 - [R]28503[/R](Sound Clip from the Refosoul Archive) All of the DEMO's that I have seen, including my copy have "MY MOTHER SAID" Both sides, make sure that you get the Stock Copy - (Brilliant Record, Always been a favourite of mine).
