  1. I saw Chris Clark at Sheffield a couple of years ago & would definitely pay to see her again. Would dearly love to have seen Brenda Holloway, Jack Ashford & the others. As you say many people may not have heard of them, yet if they did they would surely enjoy. Glady's Knight at Sheffield was one of the best ever, yet played to a reduced audience at The Arena. Better Advertising would have helped. When Cliff Richard & The Shadows appeared at The Arena it was advertised on many commercial breaks.
  2. Yes, even though I couldn't make it anyway, I heard virtually the day before that Dec12th show was cancelled. Similar thing happened with an earlier concert at the Dome in March, we had tickets for a Motown Show, found out quite by chance that we needed to get our money back as it was cancelled. On this occasion I had managed to get a shift off & had to cancel holiday etc. We could have easily turned up on the night too.
  3. A once in a lifetime I missed at Doncaster. Tried to get time off, due to work commitments couldn't & then concert cancelled at the last minute. Such a shame for all that would have loved to have seen these Artists.
  4. PopSike.com UK This one from PopSike for the U.K. DEMO ----------------------------------------------------- Then two European Sleeves that I picked up & ALL 3 Different. Norway Holland
  5. As far as we know unreleased in U.S.A. on Loma, Yet a Picture Sleeve for the Germany Issue.

CHOSEN FEW - FOOTSEE - LIVE AT WIGAN - (Sound Clip From Refosoul Archive) Always loved the "Original" Pieced together Version, not sure who was responsible but thanks. Many memories of my youth, captured in this pure nostalgia instrumental of it's time, though frowned at today.
  7. BALLACHE, IZZAT SPANISH JOE, LIKE IT, NEVER HEARD THAT ONE BEFORE BRI PINCH. TOP OF THE STAIRS, BLAH BAR, SAT 28TH NOVEMBER. SUNDAY CHILLOUT@HORSE AND GROOM, 13TH DECEMBER, EAST LAITH GATE, DONCASTER.

It is difficult, but there's definitely a cure for earache there.
  9. Might be my scanner settings Ken, this is one from my other (Older) scanner. Must admit its closer in shade/colour, the Bell Background on your copy looks like it has been detected by the scanner but extremely faint.
  10. Hi Bob Brilliant Site Mate. I Joined This Morning.
  11. No Problem Vince. Will Post Tomorrow. All the best.
  12. Might be scan settings on my scanner or your scanner. My copies have the B Stamp on Get Out Of My Heart side, & Bestway Stamp both sides
  13. -- SOLD Yes, Both Promotional Copies. Just noticed the second scan, should have wiped the dust off first. Here it is again.
  14. £16 OK for one copy.
  15. Hi I have a copy of this I would sell, I'll have to go check cond etc
  16. Unfortunately I haven't a copy of "HELP WANTED" in my collection Yet. Arctic is one of the labels we're compiling at Hitsville. The DEMO Is Single Sided like these two.
  17. Hi Harry I believe that many of the Arctics were kept on catalogue over a number of years. Possibly, Pressed to supply demand from Original Plates or Source. The difficulty sometimes is the correct timeline / order of issue. These two from the 60's. This one has the same Layout as the White DEMO that I have recently seen, title over two lines. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The STYRENE Copies were from the 70's as I recall & I have always considered them to be 70's Re-Issues from Original Source.
  18. Here's the White DEMO, made all the harder to acquire as the "B Side" is a Garage Collectible.

Here's a couple of Rarities, considering how easy a Stock Copy would be. Yet, the price possibly wouldn't reflect rarity in either case, I bought these in the last couple of years for a quite small amount, after years of searching.

Never really understood how they distinguish between a Collectable or a piece of 60's Worthless Vinyl. Basically 60's Vinyl & Paper with 60's Recorded Media. Regarding Customs: Who decides worth?, & why. Is it all down to declaration or Invoice. One persons collectable could be another persons trash.

  23. When they Increased the Shops Monthly Fee, I started to fill a survey out, only to be disappointed / disillusioned. The questionnaire was set out in such a way that I only had multi choice answers, nothing there to let them know how I really felt. I stopped in the end, they appeared to me to be steering the answers always in a positive way for them. I will definitely have a look at the LINK and see if they have change the format.
