  1. Many Thanks Carl Detailed Information like this is of Immense Value to Collectors.
  2. Hi Rod Heard similar, however, never seen one or a scan Identified as such. There are some different quality press amongst the "Legit" copies. Would love to see a definite scan / details for the dodgy copies.
  3. Yes, Many different pressing plants used across the various Motown Labels. "Arp", "Nashville Matrix", Monarch, ZTSC etc. Which also leads to many different Label Variations, credit layout & such.
  4. Found these on PopSike Both Numbers The 2491 is the Stock Copy though www.PopSike.com Atlantic Records # 2442 - The Ambassadors - I've got to find happiness / I'm so proud of my baby www.PopSike.com Atlantic Records # 2491 - The Ambassadors - I've got to find happiness / Good Love Gone Bad ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Also notice that the Red & White DEMO 2442 >>> On ebay <<< has a different credit Layout which can happen if from a different Pressing Plant. (For Example) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- Regarding the Black & White, I'm not 100% sure but my hunch is that it may appear on both. Could be that it crossed over from the Black & White used on Earlier DEMOs to the Later Red & White, Depending on pressing plant. It isn't far away from this one Atlantic # 2406, which can be found on Black & White / Red & White PopSike.com PopSike.com Hopefully someone can confirm

I believe that there is a STYRENE DEMO for this & West Coast Press. Haven't actually HELD a copy to check Deadwax though, these two Stock Copies are from PopSike.com Both Described as WEST COAST STOCK COPY (Click on Label) Looking at the Run-In Does look to be Monarch style rather than the Multi Run-In (Bestway)

Hi Mark Yes, London DEMOs & Big Top White DEMOs are extremely Desirable. Think there's both an East Coast & a West Coast White DEMO for the Big Top release. Virtually Impossible To Find Though.

  12. Somethings going on >>> BIG MAYBELLE 96 TEARS <<< 7 Available - Really, only 7 (It's a one off Mate, How many do you want) (Took me ages to find a Real DEMO, Had it a couple of years now) I will post Details Tomorrow of Deadwax etc, Don't want anyone to part with their hard earned cash on a New One, thinking it's Original. At least they Specify NEW & REPRO in the listing, However ....... If anyone fully understands what they are actually purchasing, up to them I suppose. Royalties ?
  13. I owned one of these, could still be at my Parents House. Linear Tracking Needle - Played Large or Small Center 7"" Records Automatically. Cassette Player, long time ago when I last saw it. Incredibly Rare Item. >>> LINK_Bush Discassette <<<

  16. Yes Mick, I keep trying with these competitions, nothing It has been mentioned before, someone definitely into Soul Music using these tracks as backing.
  17. Yes please, never seen that Variation before mate.
  18. Certainly is.
  19. Instrumental Backing for their competition. Monday = Just Brothers - Sliced Tomatoes Tuesday = Trammps - Scrub Board
  20. Many Thanks for the U.K. DEMO Scans, Obviously in the U.K. they re-promoted using a DEMO, even though it is so well known, second time around. But in the U.S.A. they appear to have continued to issue possibly without producing a DEMO. Amazes me especially with the first copies as it was to supposed be a turning point for Chess (Motown Style Recording) Not seen a DEMO, Yet, for the Blue & White Checker Variation either. I wonder if it simply stayed on catalogue throughout all the different variations. However, that wouldn't explain the lack of DEMOs when first released. Definitely unusual.
  21. What happened regarding the DEMOs Just don't see many about. Anyone seen a DEMO for these two?. ------------------------------------------------ Different Designs throughout the Labels History, "Rescue Me" being the Hit appears on almost All. The "Checker Board" Variation, DEMO's Extremely Difficult & the Red Label "Checker Board" not easy to find. Followed by the Blue & White Checker. Haven't Scans at the moment for this Design.
  22. I bought a Sharp Stereo System for home use, Radio, 8 Track Player & Recorder. Sold it in the early 80's. However, I still have a Hi-Fi seperate Sharp 8 Track Player & Recorder that I bought around the same time. Not many bought Player/Recorders I would Imagine most bought players for the car. Almost Identical to this one. I thought that it was the future at the time so bought recording capability, It still worked the last time I tried it but not easy as it is a continous loop joined by a silver joint tape. This causes the head to move to next track so you have to time each of the sections almost perfectly. I have a few Soul releases, Motown Chartbusters was released and the 8 Track for this I bought the Vinyl Album at the same time. I will have to have a look in the loft. I think I remember a Pye Disco Demand (2nd Album) Casualeers, Wally Cox etc. 8 Track Album too but will have to check. It's a few years since I've been in that box.
  23. Hi Gary I have a copy, P.M.'d You
