  1. Hi Ady Here's the Record in Question.
  2. Many Thanks for the extra Information on this record. I do know what you mean Exactly where I first noticed the difference.
  3. Hi Richard. Do you know how many have a different credit layout as I keep finding them for certain numbers. Not sure if all may have, or just certain numbers. For Instance Golden World 21 "HEY", Has two White DEMOs & two corresponding Stock Copies. (GW-21 on the Left of the Label & GW-21 on the Right of the Label)
  4. A Little Beauty That Is.
  5. I would have said RARE too. Not sure where I bought this Stock Copy from, but either way, I haven't seen the DEMO before.
  6. Yes Like a British Label with a Plastic Tri-center like this one under the labels. Both sides the center of the Look-A-Like Label could be removed with a Sharp Knife, Plastic Tri-Center then flipped out to make a Large Center Disc. Not sure if all were like this though, but the few that I saw were for some reason. A little bit like this, but not by using the sticker, Just a full label STUCK over eack side.
  7. Sad News Indeed. R.I.P. Barbara Brown.
  8. Well, I bought the Soultown copy in the 70's, think it was 90p To buy the Soundville Look-A-Like in the 70's I think was £1 the Soundville Look-A-Likes had a Full Label over a Tri-Center, The Paper label would have needed to be sliced through with a sharp knife & plastic center & paper removed to make it Large center. So I bought the Soultown copy & I thought at the time that both were BOOTs 100%, However, that stamp is Intriguing & apparently the same as The Sweets, so the Soultown as a re-issue from Source, I would say is almost certain.
  9. Hi Pete I have just checked my (Auction) listing ebay.co.uk, found it on the second page, where you finally sumbit Listing. Cost 10p for US, Canada You may be right, Could be because you have listed "Buy It Now".
  10. Many Thanks to ALL for Information on this Record. Thanks Tony for the behind the scenes Information, in fantastic detail. Love stuff like this. I'm Guessing That the "B Side", "Who's Gonna take The Blame" must have been a last minute change in the U.K. Initial copies, "You Must Be Love" then changed to "Who's Gonna Take The Blame"
  11. Yes Mate, Many Thanks for the Picture. Just wondering which Matrix it is. Anyone know.
  12. I do remember hearing something along these lines when it came out in the U.K. The different "B Sides" in the U.K. also noticed at the time, not sure why they changed "B Side" though.
  13. Yes it does, Could be my Deck, However I don't think that there's a problem with it. The Tamla Copy at 45 The Tamla_Motown (Argentina) at 33 1/3
  14. I thought the same until it arrived, but it's Smokey's Vocal that first caught my attention. He sings it slightly different, just listening to the first 30 Seconds, I think you can tell. Very Similar, but phrased differently.Listen to (Fool, within the first few seconds, it's Fo-ol on the Tamla Copy)
  15. Different Vocal
  16. Information on this release >>> "Jo Armstead" - The Sharp End Of Vinyl <<< Nothing different surfaced as far as I am aware.
  17. Here's the Red Soultown copy with the Matrix Mark, not sure which Matrix that is, Unusual.
  18. Whether it's from the time of the First or Second release, Certainly Appears to be Rare. So far Only a couple of copies confirmed as Stereo (with the Different Deadwax). Petes Copy & Alans Copy
  19. Sorry Pete, (Must have had a Senior Moment there, I have edited Post)
  20. That's a point Thinking about the White DEMO for "Landslide" Does that mean an Earlier Stock Copy also Exists with either Design below. Or were the Blue Stock Copies & White DEMO caught up in a period of Design Change, and released around the same time.
  21. Just wondering if any have ZTSC Stamp & the earlier black label. (I'm expecting there to be, or else what is a ZTSC (Dated 1966) Doing on a Light Blue Chess. My copy of Chess 1966 Summertime has the Light Blue Label & Styrene, which is thought to be 70's. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Petes copy is also Styrene (Edited, Petes Copy is Vinyl) I'm trying to establish the Date for Petes copy by Looking at other releases on the Chess Label.
  22. Thanks Sebastian. Not sure why this ZTSC number crossed out, or whether it appears with earlier Chess Label for this release.
  23. I have been checking other releases in my collection. Here's a STYRENE Light Blue from a second hand shop in the 70's, so Origin before that (Unsure) The thing is it has a ZTSC121449 / ZTSC121450 but scratched out ZTSC121449 / ZTSC121450 in the Deadwax. Just wondering if the ZTSC number Could be Identified as a Date.
  24. Hi Sean One was Indeed from Boylans & The Other from Soul Bowl. Just trying to remember which.
  25. Just posted again for easier comparison against Petes copy. My copies are BOTH Vinyl TM1769 (With a strange @ type matrix mark scratched in) 14784 MW
