  1. Yes & It's a different picture of the other red boot this time 2nd Listing. This was the first listing, now ended >>> 1st Listing <<< which just happens to be the same Picture as this one >>> Different Seller <<< but a different sellers listing. Plus It was totally different BOOT Design, so which one is actually for sale.
  2. Same Picture I THINK, Different Seller & Price >>> LINK <<< ?
  3. Just noticed the numbers are quite close together of the Capitol releases on this thread. 15455 15461 15469 15481 15484 Imagine these at time of release arriving at your door.
  4. I have seen records at we'll say £100 when realistically I know they are hardly worth that. Listed at that price for a year or so & possibly may fly off the Shelf at say £80. Wonder if they EVER sell any, or always take nearest offer else it stays on Stock.
  5. Thanks, that may explain the price then.
  6. Yes, I searched yesterday & found the same, Up to the seller at the end of the day I suppose, could be that it's in demand again, and who knows when you see some of the prices recently on ebay. Having said that it's normally an Auction where prices go high with demand pushing the bids. All down to Supply & Demand at the end of the day. If a record is on a Set Sale and Over priced, Time passes & it's still on Sale for that price. I have an absolutely MINT copy on Right On, sleeve too but wouldn't have put that kind of price on it. Sebastian is closer with his £20 - £30 I would have thought.

The main thing is the condition of the Vinyl & Label. As Pete says you can replace the sleeves from other sources if felt necessary.
  8. Now that takes me back. I haven't seen a DEMO of this since the 70s on a trip to Soul Bowl. A friend who had travelled down with me bought a copy with the "RADIO STATION INFO" Sticker. Just as your picture. I already had the Stock Copy & was buying many other Items on 45. Nice One, definitely a bargain.
  9. Thanks Ken
  10. I have this as a DOUBLE Sided DEMO with "The Onion Song" I'm sure that I've also seen "California Soul" as a DOUBLE Sided DEMO. Looks like both sides promoted. Wondering which side took it into the charts in U.S.A.
  11. Yes Thanks Baz Not back at work yet, but on the mend.
  12. Yes, seen the "Frances Nero" also Jr Walker "Shake & Fingerpop", Isley Brothers "Take Some Time Out For Love". Here are the copies I have.
  13. Here's the more common BOOT on Liberty Bell
  14. This BOOT came out in the 70s, using the 1968 Version from the Rare Stamps Album >>> LINK <<< Other than that, I don't think that it was issued as a 45 before the Contempo Version.
  15. Here it is on PopSike.com PopSike.com
  16. Hi Sid I've looked & looked but can't find a value. Not easy to find it would appear, I'd say your Mint copy very appealing especially with Picture Cover. Would Imagine more than a UK Fontana copy Rarity wise, trouble is some only collect UK or U.S.A. Highly desirable to the right collector in my opinion.
  17. I just happened to notice this Elvis Presley record TODAY >>> LINK <<< Mentions 25 Copies in the box in the 1950s and this one is a Mint Unplayed Copy. 1 Previously Auctioned in 2006 Doesn't actually make clear how many of the original 25 are left, and box not Included in sale. 2 Photos of the box in the listing & from the angle can't see contents. However the bidding now over $8000 RESERVE NOT MET Makes you wonder how many Potentially, are left to be Auctioned. Doesn't appear to have put bidders off, but I suppose we are talking Elvis Presley.
  18. It is a Minefield, However with Motown Labels there are quite a few Different pressing plants involved & the vast majority are OK. Here's a Couple on Tamla, again they have different credit layout, as they are different pressing plant.
  19. It's not just the Soul Label Here's 3 Very Different DEMOs for the same release.
  20. It's the Motown stuff, so many different Pressing Plants Involved. Notice how SOUL is slightly different on the Jimmy Ruffin DEMO
  21. It is right Dean Definitely OK Mate It's a West Coast Monarch & Extremely Rare. Here's Frances Nero again PopSike.com West Coast The following are from other pressing plants PopSike.com PopSike.com
  22. I know exactly what you mean, However I have seen various numbers as a Soul DEMO with this Design. I haven't seen one close up, only scans, they are the West Coast Variation.
