Chalky suggested we start a Label Of The Week Thread As there has been a lot of discussion about Linda Jones Turkey Issue we have decided to kick off with Loma. As we travel through the Labels they will eventually be archived in "The Sharp End" for easier access. Loma Label Listing https://www.soulfulki...ic.net/loma.htm https://www.lomarecords.com/index.htm

Did This Ever Come Out On Stateside Uk
PYE First surprisingly in U.K. Yes, it was a B Side both times, therefore the only way to get the DEMO on New Voice has to be the 814 Release as far as I'm aware, but it isn't easy to find. Guessing that the Blue West Coast Label for 814 even harder to find as a DEMO. DEMO West Coast DEMO

This is a copy that I bought from Soul Bowl back in the 70s & it doesn't have a "Nashville Matrix" Apparently there is a White DEMO with the "Nashville Matrix" >>> LINK <<< However, Until proved otherwise, I'm Happy that my copy is an Original Press, Just from a Different Pressing Plant. I know that there is a West Coast Press too. There are many surprises in this collecting game, with different Variations of Press & Label. Nobody knows everything, I could be wrong.

Amy - Morris Chestnut - Too Darn Soulful
Yes, it would have been difficult. Not many Stock Copies about, considering. I've only ever seen the one that my friend Mick Cook once owned way back in the early 70s, plus the Scan on PopSike.

Amy - Morris Chestnut - Too Darn Soulful
Hi Ted Many Thanks for the Information. The Delta # makes me wonder if "TOO DARN SOULFUL" was the Indended "A SIDE" at some point. Then they changed to "YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE" as the "PLUG SIDE"

Amy - Morris Chestnut - Too Darn Soulful
This could be explained elsewhere but If it is, I haven't seen it. I've often wondered why one of the DEMOs has the Labels Reversed so I thought I would check things. Just a Theory. I'm not sure if they changed their mind regarding the "PLUG SIDE" causing confusion with the Matrix or just Human Error & we may never know. Clearly something Unusual Happened. I think that when the Bestway Press was made, they probably wouldn't have played it & simply followed the Information Given. Bestway Press - Labels on Wrong Sides. I have been Looking at this and believe that the reason the Labels are on the wrong side is because someone mixed the Matrix Numbers up between the Printers & Pressing Plant. Clearly printed on the Labels (8008) & (8009) Corresponds with the Information on the Deadwax (8008) & (8009). However when played the wrong song is in the grooves. Monarch Press - Labels on the correct sides for each title, but to achieve this the Matrix (8009) on the Label & (8008) in the Deadwax. Of course the other side has Matrix (8008) on the Label & (8009) in the Deadwax. Another pointer to this theory is the Monarch Matrix Delta # 65704 For "TOO DARN SOULFUL" # 65704-X For "YOU DON'T LOVE ME ANYMORE" Which is the "PLUG SIDE" Yet the "-X" Denotes the "B Side" on a Monarch Press.

Hi Dave I wonder If any of the Artists from Fathers Angels are aware of the Interest in "Bok To Bach" here in the UK. Also wondering If they would have been given any type of UK or US Press at the time.
