Interesting to see Jean Adebambo's Paradise being stated above as a potential spin. Interesting in that its actually a UK Lovers Rock production from the early 80s and probably a bit too slow for a northern dancefoor - an excellent record though.

Sorry, I can't answer your question but I do know that the 12 is in serious demand amongst disco/funk collectors - certainly wouldn't mind a copy myself!!

I always thought crossover was referring to a sort of soul that was relaesed in the late 60s/early 70s, after the classic Holland Dozier Holland Motown sound had run its course and before the Philly sound when on to dominate the 70s. IMHO of course!!
