well it looks like our Lincolnshires smiler has chosen to take the vow of silence as alledgedlly he has gone to Spain for a holiday, flew out today apparently. His last words on british soil were "he can't be arsed to reply to the thread, he's been going to spain for over ten years why should he stop now"?
ps dont shoot the messenger
what I want to know is who put the half a soundfile up????? Just getting into it and it stopped.... chuffin heck!!
The two Mr T's have left the building now then have they, is it safe to come out of me bunker?
Brill news Mark, having a listen to starpoint now, brill net link too...nice loud and clear. Benn like a fish out of water on a sunday since the old soul shack was torn away from us. Good luck mate, not that ya gonna need it. x x x
Nice to see Lincolnshires 'Smiler' hasnt lost his wit and good charms over the years. Seriously though I am sure if Rob says he has the acetate then he has..... end of.... he has to my knowledge over the years, got one of the most fantastic collections of rare soul and a knowledge base to match. Rob has been getting out and about a bit more recently after 'his retirement' from the scene a couple of years ago. I am sure the set he was 'bragging about' clearing the floor at Cleethorpes, was top notch rare stuff who the 'serious' collectors would have been chin stroking to in wonderment.
been listening to the clips you have posted and they are absolutely brilliant. I can remember one track being played out alot at the Old Notts Palais but cant remember its name been racking my brains trying to remember it!!!!!! This track here wont play it says its got an error code 278.
Have you got any more to post up Santino 34? Im loving them all.
Thanks

John knew that although his t shirt said anytime, he was just hoping that the tide would come in allowing those lovely shipworkers to see he was in fact, open for business.
