  1. The film is fictional . It wasn't meant to be a historical document.
  2. Is there a definitive way to distinguish the reissue Lee Fields LP from the real thing ?
  3. Was the Vibrations booted ??? Any chance you can scan it on here ?
  4. Perfect thanks , that's exactly what I was after , seems to work OK and , yes, you have to scroll across the left hand column to choose the label.
  5. Thanks but that was already common knowledge. Was just wondering if someone had taken it over and reactivated it.
  6. Always a good reaction on the dancefloor when played in Oz. Been playing it consistently for over 20 years off the Australian demo ....

  8. We've had a few recent mentions on here about sleeves and the 45-sleeves.com website. Is it now established that the site - for the time being anyway - is no longer "active", so to speak? I've just been on the site and the label information and scans appear to be no longer accessible on there. https://web.archive.org/web/20150312014008/https://www.45-sleeves.com/index.html

  11. Philadelphia Story - Moving to the side of love .... is this on vinyl in any form ?
  12. Is there any bio information available on Doni Burdick ? Who was he ? And if he recorded Candle and Whatcha Gonna Do in 1971 surely it wasn't with the intention of actually releasing them? The sound would have been so dated for the American music scene of the early 70s . Ady mentioned on Soulful Detroit some years ago: ady_croasdell Senior Member Join Date Aug 2010 Posts 266

  20. Al Kent says that he "actually recorded 'Where do I go from here' on the Tops with strings. Eddie Holland sang background on it. Man, they nailed it ...". So the Four Tops recorded a version of Where Do I Go From Here ?!! Would love to hear that !
