That day was what it is all about. Or should be anyway. Big thank you to Mick and Andy for a great day with a roomful of the right people in the right place at the right time. And Irv Milne at 5 oclock- take a bow-brilliant -
Really good venue this. Cracking dancefloor and quality ( and i mean quality) records all played on original vinyl. As it should be. Loved every minute of it.

About time Mike. Lot of uninteresting negative posts on this one. About time it was laid in its box and forgotten about.

Answer unquestionably is yes. Go out enough and you see loads of people going through their ‘ dance routine’ Enjoying themselves immensely but patently obviously no love of the music. Just putting on a show to watch when they get home or as Pete Eccles would say ‘ they would dance if the fire alarm went off’

Erm... Its already been played at Tiffanies Dave..... Jordan played it the other week.

Many thanks to Dave and co. for all the hard work involved in putting the night on. Best soul night we’ve been to in a long time and 3 sublime sets from Jordan, Mark and Tony. I think last night was as good as it gets currently. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very enjoyable evening. Lord Everett did indeed play a blinder. Quality from start to finish. ( Thanks for the Emmanuel Laskey). Made my night. Good to see you lot again. Great job

Highly enjoyable afternoon in sunny Southport. A rare day when nearly all the right people were in the right place at the right time. Many thanks to the organisers who did a great job to get the show on the road. Do it again.

A little late with this but its been hot this week ! Venues like this are getting scarcer and scarcer, especially in this area so a big thank you to Baz and everyone involved for the time and effort to put the night on. And a massive thank you to Carl and Maria for an absolutely breathtaking set including the wonderful ‘ Billy Woods’ Highlight of my year so far

Sounded great at Swinton Nighter. ( rest of spot was c**p though ) Top work Sherlock.

Far too long Hugh. Seems like forever. Looks like we’re running out of quality venues doesnt it?Hope the boss is well. All ok over here.

Martha Reeves. Wigan 1977ish. Didn't know the words to One Way Out but fantastic nonetheless. Gladys Knight and her Pip. Las Vegas early 2000’s. Perfection.

Long long time since we went to a lock out soul night ! A great night with a boatload of lovely people having a really good time. And a Quality set from Mark Sharrocks with some absolutely sublime records. Best set i’ve heard in a long time. By a mile ! Well done Moz ( and co )

A very ambitious project and i did wonder if it would work. Well work it definitely did. Wonderful atmosphere and a really friendly crowd. Music great. Sound system great. Pies great. A massive thank you to Paul Mark and Jimmy and everyone involved. Best weekend we’ve had in a long long time. Thank you -
This made me laugh. ‘Peddling Speed’ At an event full of grannies and grandads dancing on an Axminster carpet to ‘ mainly’ late Mecca disco stuff. Doubt it.

Thanks for that Tony. Sad news indeed. Nice fella and a very snappy dresser. Will be much missed.

Very true. A tough honest fair man. Great tribute that.
